I had the braking management system replaced by mercedes of thousand oaks 1/2013 it was actually under warranty still I have a 2004 mercredes e500 yesterday my brakes faiel lucky for me i didnt crash but was very close i had the car toed same day 8/29/13 to mercedes of encino where i was told by Drew they will look into it.
they tell me there is air in the brake lines and its 577.00 to bleed the air out
plus 177.00 for diagnostic fees
i explained to him my breaks have not been touched infact i may need pads i havent got to it yet"
to which he said ok well then take your car to thousand oaks ( what company says that to one of thir clients ??!!?)
mind you my brakes have failed ive already used my AAA allowance on getting the vehicle to mercedes of encino which i can see now was a biiiiiig mistake !
Do not be fooled by these people do not let them charge you bogus fees
what they are doing is a crime
I am brining this matter up to Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bearu
