On Mar 06, 2012 at 18:08:33 PST I was notified by Ebay that I have sucessfully won the Aution for the 2011 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class RWD GLK350 with the VIN# WDCGG5GB0BF575675.
That evening I contacted the Mercedes Dealer, Mike Marooney, Fleet Manager about the Auction, to make arrangements to collect my winnings. Mike Sent me the following email below:

That morning I arrived at the dealership to discuss with Mike a solution and was lied to when Mike presented me an confirmation email from eBay stating that a Auction was discontinued. I then contact eBay to confirm this receipt of cancellation at Mike's Desk to find out that the cancelled vehicle was that of a different vehicle with another VIN#. I asked Mike why he lied to me, then had a 5 minute pause with him not giving me an reason. Mike said the vehicle was sold prior to the close of the auction and according to eBay there was no attempted made to cancel the Auction. Mike this is not his problem but he needs to investigate prior to doing anything for me.
Here is my email correspondent with Mike of Mercedes Benz of Escondido.
Cory,As do we... funny, when we both stepped back and took a little time, we actually seem to have anappreciation and understanding for one another. Every effort will be made to find you a vehicle, on that you have my word. till then,

I appreciate your time today and I am confident a compromise can be reach. As I discussed the objective is to get me behind some wheels of a GLK or comparable model. Even through we have been engage in some unfortunate events which has affected both of us, my intentions is if we can reach a compromise my negative posting will be retracted and I will be able to submit a positive feedback which will align your company for more publicity for your product actions and continue to do business with eBay and we can both move on with fulfilling lives. I plan to do all this in your office and will submit and agreement outlining the chosen language. Hope to do business!!

Good Morning Cory, You certainly have a lot of energy, Lord only knows what good you could accomplish if you directed it in more meaningful endeavors. The events that brought us to this juncture are unfortunate, but not intentional in any way. I can't imagine whatpurpose it would serve. Obviously, the chain of events were sparked by a simple glitch in the system. I've been selling Mercedesfor over forty years, amongst other things that leave me a bit behind the curve on all the cyber mumbo jumbo that is such a bigpart of your generations lives. As I ponder the planet, I see a world full of so much pain and suffering, so many things that ayoung able person of your intellect could be doing to truly make a difference in peoples lives including your own. Instead youhave chosen to launch a crusade against a car dealership that had a wrecked car on eBay that as a result of some unknowncircumstances you weren't able to purchase. If Tweets, Blogs and You-Tubes concerning this matter are your heartfelt contribution to making the word a better place, I am truly saddened, not only for you, but for what the word that I brought a son into has become. Keep in mind Michael I have 60 days to revoke my comments. I have never been treated with such disrespect by any organization. As I investigated further the vehicle that I am entitled to was indeed authorized by your organization with your username and I even have the exact time and Ebay has your IP address on file and there is no record that you mentioned of cancelling the bid as you attempted to persuade me while we met today in your office. It was beyond belief that you would lie to me and print out an ebay bid cancelation of vehicle that was not even the same VIN number of the Vehicle that I won on ebay that you wish not to provide me and attempt to trick me into thinking that ebay and everyone else made a mistake when I contacted ebay in your office to receive confirmation in front of you. According to ebay there was no mistake made who is at fault. You do a very good job of playing the innocence card when I along time ago have learned to own up to my faults and responsibilities. I believe after my conversation with ebay in your office our 5 minutes of silence speaks mounds of truth.
As of now I have elementary have only made a honest comment on your account which only has put the wheels in motion but can later be retracted if I get what I won or a comparable solution is resolved. If this matter is not rendered appropriately I will indeed follow through with giving all my factual documents to the appropriate parties and leaving out my personal opinions which hold zero ground in supporting my case to include; media, Mercedes Benz, YouTube, twitter, other social media and including and addressing legal matters. You say Mercedes Benz of Escondido operates a fair and integrable operation which in my case has not been demonstrated from the moment we have came in contact. Your company's demeanor during this ordeal has been unacceptable and likewise if a resolution can't be reach it is only fair that no one experiences identical treatment that has been provided to me and my family.

We're just people who sell and maintain cars, the thought that anything that occurredwould be anything harmful to anyone involved is preposterous. When we parted today, you told me that you would give us to the endof the weak before you started legal action and or a smear campaign. We were informed that you have already filed a negative complaintwith eBay which reflects on our reputation. We all must choose our paths, we wish you all the best on yours. I would had never expect Mercedes Benz dealership turn out to be slime ball liars and a poor excuse for a Mercedes Benz dealer. I hope that Mercedes Benz corporate will find this posting and rectify the situation because this particular dealership has no business operating.
