Just discovered...no pun intended, that my company has been charged $29.95 for Legal Club Monthly AND $49.95 for Legal Club Solutions since 2007 on our Discover Merchant account!!!!

My bookkeeper did not catch this because she only reconciles the charges on our processor's statement to the bank statement. She assumed they were normal "discount fees", and never saw the details on the Discover statement.

I called Discover, first and told I had to call Legal Club Monthly and Merchant Tech Solutions, directly to stop the billing and get a credit. I asked Discover why they are allowing a third party to bill through our account. Seems unbelievable to me as I have to prove my identity to make any changes or get info. about my Discover account, yet they are happy to just allow anyone to put a charge and debit my checking account. There is a huge problem here, and gotta believe there are privacy and other legal issues to be addressed. Obviously, Legal Club Mthly was "happy" to cancel the service as they have soaked be for over $600. But, I wanna refund and compensated for my time to correct this FRAUD!

There are many others out there that have been screwed and some quick searches on the internet will provide other leads.

If there is not a class action lawsuit brewing, at the very least WE need to consider an awareness campaign with Discover until everyone is refunded and satisfied.

The same thing happened to me, but I caught it the day after they took it out! Mine was for a "health plan". Saturday Holdings Inc, has both the health plan and the legal services plan. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission. I hope everyone will do this, so we can stop them or at least have them investigated! I also have a Ripoff report on here, look it up, to see what happen to me! The health plan is called Peoples Health Express!

My account was charged 39.95 for 2 months and on the second month i called discover and legal club monthly and was told they would only refund the current month -- too bad about the first month --- i told the girl she worked for thieves and scammers and she should know that. She hung up on me but im calling again next week - i want my money back.   

Im not sure but a couple of months ago i got a call from an oriental woman saying she was updating my information for discover and i had a feeling then it was some sort of a scam where they try to get you to answer other questions and tape record the yes answers and fill in the blanks on another recording if that makes sense.

When i talked to discover they said that this legal club monthly had a recording of someone authorized to make decisions for the company approving this. I am a sole propriotor but my word isnt good enough.
