Two sections here. One is my live chat with t-mobile, another is my email thread with messaging-unlimited.com.

--------------------------------------------------

You have been connected to ~Paul G.
Mr.X: PREMIUM SERVICES $9.99 monthly and the $0.40 messaging charges. When did I authorize that?
~Paul G: Hi , welcome to T-Mobile live Chat. Im ~Paul and I will be happy to assist you. Please give me a moment to review your question.
~Paul G: For your reference, my ID number is 1320308.
~Paul G: Thanks for being a valued T-Mobile customer since 2009. I understand you have some concerns regarding charges on your bill. This is an important issue to me and I am pleased to look into this for you.
Mr.X: I would like to find out if that was added without my authorization.
Mr.X: If so, I need credit back for all the charges.
Mr.X: and have it removed immediately.
Mr.X: then I need to look into how much I am saving if my line is removed, leaving only my wife's on the acct.
~Paul G: Okay the charge for the text messages would be valid as you do not have a text bundle. I can take a look at the premium charges for you. Please allow me to review the bill and then we can move on to your next question.
Mr.X: thanks
~Paul G: Welcome.
~Paul G: The premium message charge comes from
www.messaging-unlimited.com.
~Paul G: The mobile number would have been entered at that site and the message cost is $9.99.
Mr.X: Then they are fraudent charges.
Mr.X: fraudulent as it was never authorized.
~Paul G: As a one time courtesy I will remove the charge for you.
Mr.X: Wait a min. I have never authorized them to provide me the service and we have never use their services.
Mr.X: you want me to pay you so that you can pay them?
Mr.X: It is not courtesy we should be talking about here.
~Paul G: No, I am not asking you to pay for this. I am going to credit the account for the $9.99.
Mr.X: per month for how many months (since they started charging)?
~Paul G: I do see the charge over the past 3 months. I would be able to credit for the past 2 months.
~Paul G: I can also block that service from your account.
Mr.X: I will go back to all my bills to see when they started charging, you can credit whatever and the left amount I will have to file a dispute.
Mr.X: What you should have done was ASK ME IF I HAVE AUTHORIZED THEM TO CHARGE ME AND BILL THRU YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE.
~Paul G: Of course you may do so however as a normal practice we can only go back 2 months.
Mr.X: yes, you will want to block them and any other services like that immediately.
~Paul G: Many people do download from 3rtd party sites and we cannot tell who would want the service and who would not. I would be pleased to block content (downloads) from your account so this does not occur again.
Mr.X: messaging-unlimited.com scams cell phone users and you allow them to do so.
Mr.X: I will dispute all the charges.
~Paul G: You are within your rights to do so Mr.X.
Mr.X: what will happen to my account if I win the dispute?
~Paul G: Nothing would happen. I am not sure what you mean.
Mr.X: ...if my credit card company decides that I do not have to pay those $9.99 charges, then, what would happen to my account?
Mr.X: you would make an adjustment and continue the service or you would suspend my account or send me to collection?
~Paul G: Mr.X, as long as you are paying the bill we would not suspend your account, nor would be send you to collections. I will credit the account as I have stated for the 2 months worth of charges. I will block the site for you and be sure to block content (downloads) on both of your lines.
Mr.X: I am talking about.... I will file dispute with my credit card to get back those $9.99 since whenever they started charging me.
Mr.X: If I win the dispute, they will do chargeback.
Mr.X: question is when you see the chargeback, what would your company do?
~Paul G: Okay I understand you question however this is out of my scope of support to answer. It would be best to contact our Financial Care Specialist with questions of this nature.
Mr.X: I will tomorrow.
Mr.X: Pls help me with my 2nd question.
Mr.X: (I understand you would credit for 2 months and block them charging me further.)
~Paul G: I will take care of that before the chat ends.
Mr.X: removing xxx-xxx-xxx would save how much?
~Paul G: As the # is still under contract it would incur a $200.00 Early Termination Fee if you cancelled that line.
Mr.X: when will the contract end?
Mr.X: is it a 2 year contract?
~Paul G: Yes, the contract is for 2 years. Both lines are under contract until 3-14-2011.
Mr.X: Noted.
Mr.X: How can I contact your Financial Care Specialist ?
Mr.X: any live chat?
~Paul G: They can be reached at 1-800-937-8997 or 611 from your handset.
~Paul G: They are not available via Live Chat, I do apologize.
Mr.X: ok. I will call them. Thank you for your service.
~Paul G: Thank you for contacting T-Mobile Chat, and thanks for being part of our family.

Got the refund.

Obviously, your company is scamming people. I happen to be one who noticed the charges and I wasted my evening with T-Mobile to dig you out. Now, in an effort to stop me from stirring this up, you issued refund immediately. You think that would shut me up? However, I still have obligation to let this known, on ripoffreports.com, on google.com, on tmobile.com forum, on BBB, and on many places I will find tonite as as to stop from doing this and put you thru justice.

If you dont agree, show me the source IP address of me visiting your site entering the PIN, and show me the exact date and time of when you sent me the PIN text message. I will contact tmobile to see if there was such text msg.

Otherwise, tomorrow, have fun finding yourself everywhere online.

Hello xxxx,

Thanks for your message concerning canceling the service on cell phone #xxx-xxx-xxxx.

I checked the account and can confirm that the number has been opted out of the service.

The mobile # was activated on February 25th, 2010 on our TV Recap website, searching for tv episodes online. It would require your cell phone # and also a four digit pin that sent to the phone as a text message. The billing dates were February 25th, 2010, March 26th, 2010 and April 29th, 2010.

Unfortunately we are unable to remove charges from your cell phone, however we can issue a refund through one of the two following options:

1) Refund to your PayPal account:

To take advantage of this refund process please reply to this message with your cell number, first and last name, and a valid PayPal address.

PayPal refunds are sent instantly once we have your PayPal account information for processing.

2) Refund check sent via USPS mail

Along with the phone number, please reply to this email and include your full name, and full mailing address so that we can send you a refund check.

Once your information is received for processing our refund checks are delivered to a US Post Office every business day, and arrive in 1-3 days.

Your information will not be used for any reason other than to address the refund and will not be shared or distributed in any way.

Have a nice day,

-Cara

Ok, hiding away? I will get you and put you out of business unless you show me wh*o, when and how you were authorized to charge me.

I was told you started charging my T-Mobile account xxx-xxx-xxxx $9.99 a month starting on my 3/14/2010 and 4/14/2010 bills.

Who, when and how were you authorized to charge me?
