Metro Ford... Oh boy where do I start. First I drove 2 hours to metro ford to see a truck they said they had in stock. Guess what, the truck was sold the night before. So the sales manager told me to go look at the used trucks they have on the lot. I test drove 4 trucks and found a 2013 F-150 crew cab 5.0 v8, which is still on their web site for sale with thier certified inspection process lol. Anyway traded my 99 F-250 in and I got the financing done.
I drove the truck home, started looking at the truck and it seemed to have been in a wreck. I took the truck to 3 body shops they all told me the same thing, that the frame was diamond, which meant that the frame was twisted. Metro Ford of Miami insured me the truck was never an any wreck, so I drove the truck back to Metro Ford to explain to theim my findings and they tried to bullshit me. Then they put the truck on the lift and found out for themselves that the truck was in a wreck, making the frame twisted.
Jesus, the sales manager, told me that they are not going to give me my money back, but we will find you the same truck. They asked me to give them a week ok so. Two hours later Jesus called me saying that they found a truck and asked me when I can come up. I told him that I'll come up Saturday moring. Then I showed up sat around 11:00 am found the truck in the detail bay, half way waxed with scratches from one end of the truck to the other and the frame was rusted. It looked like it had been submerged in salt water. I went to the manager and told Jesus my concerns about the truck. He told fine, we will just void the sale and we are done. I asked him do I need to sign any paper work and his respones was no.
He said I'll have a check for your down payment Wednesday. So I took my old truck home. On Thursday I called and asked for Danny, because I didn't recieve my check. He told me that he didn't know anything about the deal, but he will find out what is going on. He called back 20 minutes later and told me that he would try to have a check for me by Saturday. I called Friday about the check and they said that I have a check for you but I need the owners signature but they will have it for me on Monday and I'll call you when it is in my hands. So I just now called the financed company and Metro Ford still has not canced my loan. So a warning to anyone thinking of dealing with Metro-Ford, don't do it! They will just sell you a sub-standard vehicle, at unfair prices and they give you the run around when you want your money back. This is my opinion.
