Norris vs. Boeing North American and Metropolitan Life

Case No. 6:97;cv-584-ORL-22JGG

Lawsuit filed for Metropolitan refusal to pay long term disability benefits. Lawsuit filed against Boeing/Rockwell for fraud in laying off employees before they met long term disability eligibility. I was laid off one week before eligibility for disability benefits.

Appeal Court rejected the lower court decision and remanded the case back to the Middle District Court in Orlando, FL. The assigned judge is: Anne C. Conway (813)228-2739.

The case will be heard in Year 2003 as a jury trial. The case has been pending since October 1993, nearly 10 (ten) years.

Metropolitan Life is the largest and most profitable insurance company in the United States. There are presently thousands of lawsuits pending against this company.

Metropolitan Life and Boeing/Rockwell discriminate against the disabled and aged and profit from the collection of premiums for benefits that will never be paid.

I ask those who read this article to copy it and send it to Metropolitan Life, Boeing, your Congressman, the EEOC, AARP and news media with your comments about CORPORATE FRAUD.

Insurance companies may refuse legitimate claims for long term disability benefits

#2General Comment

Thu, May 24, 2012

Hi, my name is Sonja, & Im with the disability rights group from Sokolove Law.  We have been reviewing thousands of potential claims where insurance companies refuse long-term disability benefits to someone who has a legitimate claim. Too often, legitimate claims are denied because insurance companies look for every possible legal and technical angle available that will allow them to deny a valid claim. When an insurer does not live up to its end of the contract, they act on what is called bad faith.

For folks interested in learning more about bad faith practices of insurance companies, there is great information available at http://awe.sm/5o82i. If your claim has been rejected, I want you to know your rights and options. Call our office toll-free at 800-581-6943 to learn about your options and receive a free legal consultation.
