Honestly - do not do business with Micfo Group (micfo.com -- of LAGUNA HILLS, CA)
I recently signed up for web hosting with Micfo Group, LAGUNA HILLS CA (2/4/06 - at micfo.com) because of the overwhelming good reviews of their company. My recent host's servers, after years of reliability, became unstable and our websites were down quite a bit.
Micfo.com guarantees:
"99.9% Network Uptime Guarantee
Micfo.com offers a 99.9% Network Uptime Guarantee. That means your Web site is guaranteed to be operational 99.9% of the time in any calendar month, or you will get your money back for that month. Micfo.com will refund the customer's monthly fee in the event of Service Outages due to the failure of our Local Area Network or a Web hosting server."
I was only with Micfo.com for a month and during that month my websites went down 4 times and were up 75% of the time, my email was unavailable and not working at least twice a week, I lost customers and money, and most hurtful of all is that my companies reputation as a trusted, reliable web design company is tarnished.
When I asked for my money back from Micfo.com and for them to honor their guarantee they do not respond.
When my account came up for renewal, I told them to cancel it and to NOT charge my credit card (I was completely canceling my account) Micfo.com charged account anyway and would not process a refund.
I had to basically call my credit card company to reverse the transaction.
I am EXTEREMELY disappointed. All the online review sites listed them as one of the top 10 companies -- and they are clearly not.
Again -- I was only with them for 1 month and my support tickets are a page long. Support request are as follows.
