I hired Michael B Stone to handle some legal matters for me. I deposited $3000 into his bank account for my cases. This money was deposited into a client fund for use on MY CASE ONLY! Michael b Stone BOUNCED the $130 check for the filing fee to the court. When I became suspicious of him, I checked his State Bar Status and it had been suspended for NON PAYMENT OF CHILD SUPPORT during the month he bounced a check to the court. Not only was he illegally practicing law in California, he also took my client fund money for himself - OR THE CHECK WOULD NEVER HAVE BOUNCED!
If you don't believe me, check out his status for yourself! I filed with the state bar association and they have accepted the case for further prosecution. I wish I had been warned ahead of time before giving my money to a dishonest attorney!
