Mr. Birnkrant operates under any number of "business fronts." He will call himself a wealthy real estate developer, and dupes you in to investing hundreds of thousands of dollars with him. He comes off like someones grandfather, and when he's caught and you sue him he has "Alzheimers." His wife and son are no better. His home base is the Chicago Illinois area, (that's appropos), and you will find him in Cal, and New England.
He is good at his con-game. He has a "resume' of Billions of dollars of closed deals. He is associated with many Chicago mobster types. He doesn't have a pot to piss in, run away from this guy, and run fast.

I have always managed my company with the highest standards of integrity,and the old fashioned way of a handshake .I have been in business for 38 years ,and am proud of developing a reputation of operating with total integrity.
I am most concerned about a report that in effect says that I am connected with the mafia and unscrupulously attracting investors into my real estate companies.I have never been sued in 39 years for any type of a misdemeanor .
This company that filed totally untrue and slanderous reports against myself,wife and son.the owner of Rip off report is a wanted criminal
that extorts individuals and legitimate companies that appear on rip off report
and extorts them for money to remove them from rip off report.Ed Magedson, ,the founder and owner of rip off report.is a wanted criminal and at present has a $30,000 reward He has been been sued 60 times and extricates himself by saying the fraudulent reports have nothing to do with himself,but our placed by outside reports,which he has no opinion on.
Very briefly,I have overseen the presidential finance committee for Bush as for president,and served on Mayor Daley' committee' for helping businesses in Chicago in 1987.
Philanthropically,our family educational foundation,in which I am a member board member, has donated money to build to build a 17 story student housing facility,Michael and Cecele birnkkrant hall.we have been very philanthropical for 40 years.
Briefly ,Over 37 years, i have developed in excess $1,000,000,000 of of real estate and banking transactions,and have had many rewards for excellence,such as the Chicago Home builder of the year.
My strong suggestion is that you google Ed Magedson, and rip off report.

Based on more than a decade of experience, its my opinion that visitors to the Ripoff Report are not usually concerned about a company or individual who has one or more negative reports. As I always like to say, consumers dont care about complaints, because EVERY business will eventually have complaints.thats a fact of life.
Instead, what really matters is NOT the complaint, but rather how the company/individual responds to that complaint. The manner in which a business responds to and deals with a complaint speaks volumes about the character and quality of that business or individual. Thats why I always suggest that viewers look at how a business has handled a past complaint before they decide whether to trust that business in the future.
I wanted to mention this concept because rather than simply responding to the complaint above in a calm and honest manner, the subject of this complaint (Mr. Birnkrant) decided instead to engage in a personal attack against me, claiming that Ed Magedson is a wanted criminal and at present has a $30,000. Wow! Given how old, tired and obviously false this type of garbage is, it really is sad that this person felt that the best they could do is to make false attacks against me rather than simply responding to the complaint about them.
Think about how ironic that is Mr. Birnkrant claims that hes an innocent victim of slander, so how does he respond? By making false statements about me. Is that how a real, honest victim acts? I sure dont think so.
Folks, just to clear the record I am NOT a wanted criminal, and I dont have a $30,000 reward out for my arrest. These are tired old lies spread by crooks and scammers who are unhappy about being exposed on the Ripoff Report. In fact, in order to emphasize this point, I am going to do something I have never done before I will agree to remove this report immediately if Mr. Birnkrant has any proof that I am a wanted criminal or that I have a $30,000 reward (or any reward) out for my arrest. (Find that person that will pay the $30,000. Police and FBI know exactly where ED Magedson is. I along with my staff that work with law enforcement every day.)
Surely an honest person like Mr. Birnkrant wouldnt spread such harsh statements about another person without legitimate proof to back up his claims, would he? I guess time will tell.
