Michael Durrant - Precision Concrete of Delaware Will Not Return Deposit - Unreliable - Dishonest - Useless Bear Delaware
I paid Mike Durrant of Precision Concrete of Delaware close to $2,000 for a deposit for a job of poruing a concrete pad.
After months of no progress and what I consider to be poor communication I decided to go with someone closer to home. He said he would "refund" my deposit. This was June 29th. Well here is it September 20th and we still have not received our money back.
Of course the weather played a part in the delay and I understand things happened, but the bottom line is this guy still has our money after we agreed he would return it. His company is posting ads all over Craigslist, yet he still will not return the money. I said he could even take the cost of mailing the check to me out of what he owes us.
He also operated under the namd JDM Concrete when posting on craigslist. I posted my experience on Craigslist and received a call from Michael Durrant. Only he claimed to be named "James Maggio" and left threatening trext messages and a threateninf voice mail. I have since filed a police incident report on that. Funny thing is this guy didn;t hink I woudl recognize his voice and the genius did not think I would trace the phone number, which went to his address on Brittany Way.
Below is the list of excuses for not receiving my money:
- "workin' on it"
- I will mail it Saturday
- I will mail it Monday
- I will mail it Friday becasue thats when checks are cut
- Dying family member
- In hospital with collapsed lung
If this person owes you money I urge you to file a report and do not be intimidated by him. If he threatens you in any way file a police report immediately.
