Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I had to have my car towed in because it would not start....Well right off the bat I was charged 98.00 for a diagnostic fee for them just to figure out what was wrong....Then they tell me the computer chip in my key had went out and that is what scrambled my whole computer system in my car...Which I had never heard of before....

next they wanted to charge me $120.00 to put a new battery in because it completely caused my battery to die...Of course I declined the battery because we can get one at Walmart for $72.00 and my husband can put it in 5 minutes....

Then when I go to pick my car my backing to my passenger side mirror was gone...Nobody had a clue where it was....So My husband & I went back up on Saturday to talk to someone in charge....He was an a total a**hole he got in my car and backed up spun my tires...

Well when that happened my husband went off so the manager pulled my car back and got out and said I am not helping you...Then called the police on us...What the hell!!! The police officer told us just don't give them your business...We said we are not.....

They had already promised to get me a new backing to my mirror..

Then I called on Monday to check to see if it was ready for me to pick up...The Service Director "Mark"...said they had a manager's meeting about us and it was decided that they are not going to be getting me my mirror backing....THAT THEY HAD LOST IN THE FIRST PLACE>>

IT WAS ON MY CAR WHEN THEY GOT MY CAR >>

1 person was nice at the dealership and she was new I feel sorry for her....She should have thought about that twice....Before she decided to take a job at MICHAEL JORDAN NISSAN IN DURHAM, NC

I'd like to take a moment to respond to the above comments. I'm Rick Simonette, General Sales Manager of Michael Jordan Nissan and I've been satisfying customers at our store since 1998. It is unfortunate that "Rene" lost her keys and that the extra keys that the dealership gave her where she bought the car were the wrong ones. The car she drives does have an anti-theft computer chip in the master keys to assure that a "fake" or unprogrammed key won't start the car. Using an "unauthorized" key to start the car will make the car's computer shut down and refuse any key put into the ignition. This unauthorized key was obviously used to try to start the car for an extended period of time thus killing the car's battery. All of this is described in the operators manual. After damaging the battery the car was then left at an independent service facility for 2-3 days before having it towed to our dealership. No one at our store had to remove any parts to read a vehicle identification number because it's clearly posted inside the driver's door. We made the key, programmed it and advised Rene of the charges before the work was done and all of it was authorized. Rene's partner was obviously already agitated when he met me. He proceeded to use language that was very vulgar and I asked him several times not to use that kind of language and it got increasingly worse. After several attemps to calm him down I decided to tell him at this time I was unable to help him or Rene. He proceeded to threaten me and my whole staff. At this point I called the Durham Police Dept and had him removed from the lot. We make every effort to treat people with the respect they deserve and situations like these are few and far between. I hate that it ended this way! Rick Simonette 919-433-1726 [email protected]
