Michael Nelson is an African American man, tall person who looks to be around his 40's. He is posting cars for sale on Craigslist.org. He's selling the cars in Las Vegas, Nevada Most of the cars are between 2010 and 2015. He states to be a car broker and will start by posting the cars add at a cheap price and say that he buys the cars at Manheim auto auctions, located by the speedway, and sales them to the public. He will also show you pictures of the exotic cars that he is supposedly selling to other customers. Than he will ask you for a deposit before he can purchase the car from the auction. Once he takes your deposit he will raise the cars selling price for at least $2,000 and will tell you that's the final price. Than once you buy the car from him and go to the DMV to register the car they will tell you that taxes have to be collected from the car because The car was bought from a dealership. At this point you either lose your deposit for the car, which is often more than $5,000 or Pay the taxes for the car yourself. He doesnt not have a license to sale cars here in Nevada and states to have a license in Florida. He will tell you to tell the DMV case investigators that you picked up the car from Florida however that will only raise more questions on how the car made it here to Nevada. He will try and take your money and if possibe the car as well. He charges you "fees" which are supposed to include taxes already but doesn't report them so you have to pay the car taxes to the DMV yourself which is about $2,500 extra. Than he will only give you 1 car key. This guy says that he is very religious and that he went to the army. You have been warned, if you decide to "buy" a car from him, be ready to get rippped off at least $5,000 dollars or worse. The DMV has created a case for him and he is currently going through a Fraud investigation, however as of now he is still posting more adds on Craigslist looking for more victims.
