Michael Owhadi, Southern Heritage Neighborhoods, Inc. Michael Owhadi contracted to build our house. When it was less than two months underway, Michael bailed on us. He took the money for building the house with him, $194,000.00. We are 71 and 76. We Valrico, Florida
We hired Michael Owhadi, Southern Heritage Neighborhoods, Inc. to build us a home. He was only into it less than two months when he said he was going to Afghanistan to work for the government. He turned our house over to someone else. When Michael would not pay any bills, the subs would not come and work. The Foreman after a little while quit. He couldn't get anything done with no money. So it was dumped in our lap. We do not blame the foreman. Michael left with at least $194,000 of our money. We are 71 and 76. We are not physically or financially able to build this house. Not very much was done to the house before he left but almost nothing was paid for. Now the subs are coming after us. We have already used our retirement. We are trusting God and taking it one day at a time. I want Michael, however to get justice. It is beyond our comprehension that someone could do this to another unsuspecting person, let alone a 71 and 76 year old.
