My story as I found is not much different from the other people complaints, who were victims of consumer fraud conducted by the Harvard Professional Group, President Joseph E. Scanio. The name Joseph E. Scanio could be as fraudulent as services that Harvard Professional Group (HPG) promises to provide.

In February of 2004 I answered an ad in Star Ledger and called HPG. The secretary who answered my call requested me to come for the interview and have my resume with me in order to continue with HPG services. The interview was set with individual called MICHAEL POZ. He told me that only after the interview he could determine if he would be able to help his client to find a job. Of course, I was that lucky one. He explained to me that HPG is not like a regular agency that works for employers, but works for their clients like me.

MICHAEL POZ explained to me that he would use his network and his connections to bring me to the key people, major hiring decision makers of large companies to help me find a job. And I do not have to go thru the agencies and human recourse departments in order to get in touch with decision makers. MICHAEL POZ promised to me that he would send three recommendation letters to three large pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer, Merck and J&J and in three or four weeks I would get an at least two offers because these companies is part of his network. HPG charged me $6000.00 for their services and in return I did not get even one interview for the past eight month.

All they did was search website for companies located in 50 ml radius from my home address, which already could be found in any job search website, and gave me a mass mailing list and my resume printout to send to the companies. I handled postage and mailing for my one cost. Many letters came back because address or listing was outdated. After I complained, I had few meetings with MICHAEL POZ and his Service Representative STEPHANIE DAVIS and other members of his crew but result was the same.

I sent a letter where I requested my money back but they reject my request.

For the past eight months I was humiliated, robbed and even accused by MICHAEL POZ and Harvard Professional Group. And I want my money back!!!

#3Consumer Suggestion

Mon, October 18, 2004

Alex I feel for you as I do for the rest of us. I would highly suggest to follow what I recommend under the complaint of 9-29-04. There is power in the numbers. I spoke to the BBB and they said that if you are not satisfied with the result, they will keep it unresolved and will take that complaint with the others, and have the webmaster, 30 days after you receive your final rebuttel to adjust HPG's status. You must keep fighting their responses (from HPG) that come from the BBB. Plus the more complaints that the other websites receive, in which I suggested, on the same company, the better of a chance we will have to get our money back. EVERYONE Keep copies of all and respond to me if you will like to retrieve your money and bring these LOSERS to justice! A class action suit against Harvard Professional Group will have to be the next step. I know many of youu have contacted me through this website. I encourage you to reply to this and join the class action suit. Lets get justice!
