Michigan Microtech Costomer Service is a JOKE Novi Michigan
Direct TV subcontracts their installation services in Michigan to a company called Michigan Microtech. They have the WORST customer service in America!
Preparing to move to a new home in December we called Direct TV in November to have our service moved. We got a comfirmation letter in Late November saying our installer would be at our house December 2 to install our Direct TV service sometime between 8:00 AM and noon.
Having waited until 11:30 am, my wife called Michigan Microtech to find out the time had been changed to between noon and 4:00 pm. At 3:30 pm. we called again to find out our time had again been changed to between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. At 7:30 we called again to find out the installer would be at our house between 8:30 pm and 9:00 pm.
At 8:35 we get our FIRST call from Michigan Microtech to imform us the installer could not make it to our house and the next available date would be 1 week later.
A week later as promised the installer came and hooked up our tv. We got service for 6 days before we lost service.
After spending over an hour on the phone with Direct TV phone support we were told that it has to be something wrong with the connection outside and the earliest Michigan Microtech could get to us would be Thursday. (We lost service on Sunday).
This is NOT customer service. This is a "We are the only installer in the area so we dont have to have customer service. We will get to you at our convenience. After all, What are you going to do about it?"
Living in Michigan has it perks but, Michigan Microtech is not one of them.
