i hate to do this, but enough is enough. xbox, microsoft lies about the xbox live gold service. xbox live gold services was meant for, to play games online with friends, purchase things off of xbox live market place watch movies and etc.but was specificly mad for the online multiplayer modes. but now there going a little to far by ripping people off on the gold membership.

everybody pays for the xbox live gold membership to play online multiplayer with friends or some one random. but now microsoft wants to go around and find loop holes on making more money. well just sometime last year. they started making games with online passes. you must have to purchase a game brand new to get a online pass for that game free.or buy a game usedyou will not be able to play online at all unless you pay for the online pass. again and again per each game.

so now just about every game they come out with is starting to have it. there not forgetting that the xbox live gold membership is what you need to play online multiplayer. there just not sticking to the man of there words and ignoring it, and ripping off people.

they might blame somebody else as the game developers or ea. but they shouldnt be the 1 to blame, when xbox live gold was made to play online multiplayer modes. there just stiffing us making us pay double, but its not really double if you got to pay for the online pass for each game,if you dont buy it new. IF YOU REALLY THINK ABOUT THIS, ITS A HUGE SCAM AN RIPPOFF.

Yes you do pay for a membership for Xbox Live Gold for access online multiplayer and access to Netflix, Hulu, and ESPN ect. What publishers are now doing is to cut down on used sales in which the publisher and developer do not profit from. If you are sore about the online passes that are starting to become common then just buy the game new. Finally if you still choose to buy used which is your choice then the price of the pass and the used game will be give or take the same as the brand new copy unless its been out awhile.

Ok so you think all cuz your kids play Xbox makes you think you know the answer. Lol very funny and brainwashed. Let me start off by I was a Xbox fan till they pulled these tricks up out there sleeves. I know how all the map packs and etc work. But when a person buys xbox live it is meant to play online and connect to the online world. You said it also. It specifically says on the Xbox live card that it is also for online multiplayer. Does it or not? Yes it does. So there. And they want people to believe its the game developers and publishers so they don't get a law suit. Cuz they are contradicting what's put on the Xbox live card. So Microsoft is bending around there contract with gamers by allowing the publishers charge people to play online, when people already paid to play online. Why do you think they have updates a lot. Cuz they changed there contract around so people can't sue them. So by Microsoft allowing this to happen, they are clearly false advertising on there Xbox live gold subscription. Now only a original Xbox gamer will know this, and most don't agree with there online pass. But they suck it up or gets brainwashed as much as you are, makes people as your self blind to the fact and suckered into there little scam. That you can't see through of. So good luck and bend over without vassiline, cuz that's what your doing now.

The Live subscription is to connect to the online world.

The Season Pass for NBA 2K13 for instance is sold by the publisher 2 K sports

The Map Pak for Call of Duty , Black Ops 2 is sold by the publisher Activision

The Sims publisher is EA Games

Aliens: Colonial Marines publisher is SEGA

So it is not Microsoft who is charging you for the addl passes or items... it is the publisher

For one I did read your comment correctly. And it's not just one game that has been charging people extra. So that makes you the idiot for thinking so. Anyways since when should people pay to play again after they purchased the Xbox live gold card, and even bought the game? That's like hold on wait, we're not done taxing you, we have hidden charges. Purchase this online pass to play online. Wtf, that's what Xbox live gold subscriptions for. So why keep charging people after they purchased it. And I'm sure you did read the rest of my last post. But didn't have any denial or defense on this scam? Ok then. But anyways I'm much more of a man. So say what you want after this post. I'm just gonna ignore it. Stick up for Microsoft all you want, cuz that's funny. You trying to say your an employee, but then don't know about all the games that's trying to scam people for more money. How lame.

Simply because you're an idiot. I stated that it was LIKE complaining about having to pay for gold and a Netflix subscription. He is essentially complaining about having to pay for gold and some online pass for some game. I did not say he was complaining about Netflix. Who needs to learn to read? You do, idiot. Please dispose of your console. We do not want customers like you.

I think your the idiot. He or she never mentioned anything about Netflix. Everybody knows any service on there is a separately paid service. I think you need to learn how to read before you make assumptions. And yes it is bs that Microsoft is letting that happen, when the Xbox live is a paid service for playing video games online, multiplayer online play, party chat, video chat. And etc. But is mainly meant for the online play with friends or anybody random. And everybody knows that. Microsoft is contradicting there own policy and agreement contract with all the Xbox live gold members, just by allowing this to happen. People only buy the Xbox live gold to play online with friends and random people when they don't want to play alone. So therefor Microsoft is breaking the contract with all there customers. All because it states on the Xbox live subscription card, to PLAY ONLINE MULTIPLAYER, and etc so tell me if they can't promise online multiplayer by the Xbox live gold subscriptions card. Then why are they selling it and advertising it on the Xbox live gold card. That my friend is FALSE ADVERTISING, and therefore can result in a lawsuit, for false advertising. Blame who you want, but we all know who the scavenger money blood sucking scandals are, MICROSOFT. Yes you read it right. So I know with you being an employee at microsoft, if are? your just trying pamper and protect the guilty of Microsoft actions by making assumptions and twisting up the complaints around. By trying to make people look like fools off of your misreading and misleading advices. Do you feel your job is insecure? So protect Microsoft all you want, cuz we all know the real culprits.

You're an idiot. Also, OP means original poster. What exactly are you being charged for? I play countless games on my gold membership alone. A few games may require you to subscribe to them.. totally different publisher. Take it up with them. That's like saying Microsoft is ripping you off because you have to pay for a gold subscription and a Netflix subscription. Two totally different services.

im updating this becuase i forgot to mention that, i have posted the same thing on xbox lives forum, and just for the proof that they dont want people knowing about the extra charging. the xbox's website moderators, have deleted my post about this without contacting me through my email, and that alot of people was agreeing with me. that there ripping xbox live gold members off. so they didnt want people to see the truth of my post and they deleted it. so the next day i reposted it again. and 1 of the moderators called me to cheap to buy a new game. and had other moderators or his friends put me down calling me a whiner and other things, also called me a op, whatever that is. cuz im posting about xbox ripping me and others off.  the first time i posted there was no arguements or vulgar, nor no name calling. and it got deleted. so the second time after they started putting me down and stuff.  and they contacted me through my email saying there was arguements and swearing so they deleted my second time posting about it..  so why did they delete my first post for no reason and didnt contact me about it.. to hide the truth and not to let other gold members see the post. theres so much more but ill leave it as this for now.
