After suffering for lamost two straight years of non-stop panic attacks and bouts of depression as a result of the panic attacks, I had enough. I remember hearing Lucinda's radio commercial and calling in to finally order the program. I figured that it was little $$ to spend on something so important and debilitatinig. The funny thing is that I had ordered the free tape a few years earlier, but did nothing at the timie.
I will say that when I called in to order the program, they did try to sell me a myriad of other prodicts that I had no interest in buying. Also, when I received the program (which was all I wanted), it came with supplements with an auto-ship program that I never asked for.
Once I anxiously received the program (no pun there), I did it step by step every day, every week, and completed all 15 parts to the program. I was so dedicated and intent on helping myself at this point, I was willing to do almost anything to get rid of this terrible and inhibiting cloud I carried for many years.
Since I completed the full program, I have not had a panic attack..not one. This alone was worth the $$ for the program, even if I got notjhing else out of it. However, I did get more out of it. I learned an abundance of information on how these panic attacks work, and how you can accumulate this anxiety.
I will be forever greatful that this program exists. My next step would have been to go to some doctor that didn't know me, and maybe would have perscribed some drug. I did this myself, on my own time, with no drugs. After all, I kow myself best.

With more anxiety than i knew what to do with, i ordered the program. It came, I couldn't afford it, so I returned it with no prob. I couldn't tell you exactly what was on that introductory VHS, because i haven't seen it in about 5 years. I can remember though, I "took what it with a grain of salt", and that very week my anxiety went way down, and stayed down. The VHS was a free gift, and I thank God for that perfect timing.
p.s. I still have that free gift

My Husband was going threw a hard time in life, he called and attempted to order the program, but he did not have a proper credit card. They sent it anyhow, and did not bill him for the shipping. He did return it with no problem either.I think that alone says alot about the company. But anyone who thinks $400 for this program is alot, go to therapy, and pay $150 a hour or more.

The people saying it doesn't work were not that sick. Those of us who had no one who could understand the utter fear of anxiety, depression, agorophobia...thank God for the program. Money is no object when you think you are loosing your mind. You would sell your house and anything else for the program if you are really that sick and it would be worth it. I promise.

Like this site states... "All businesses recieve complaints...how they respond to complaints is what seperates a good business from a bad business". They have a GOOD product but it doesn't change the fact that they are running a BAD business. In defense of Lucinda, I find that this program very helpful. HOWEVER, the Midwest Center's dealings with it's clients is less than satisfactory. I found out my sister already owned the program, but decided to keep it for myself anyway. It cost me almost $600. I thought it was worth it (you do have to consider that it consists of 15 CDs and 15 work books plus flashcards and DVDs etc. So if you do the math it's a BIT on the high end, but not by much). BUT THEN I was then tricked by the Midwest Center out of over two thousand four hundred MORE dollars on the personal coaching program. You can see my own report against them on this matter. What they did was dishonest, sneaky and manipulative. Especially when you consider that they are dealing with people who have depression, anxiety, and other mental disorders!

Granted, this program IS expensive (it'll run a consumer upwards of $500, plus the optional "Good Days/Good Nights" nutritional supplement), and the infomercial and website DO leave it up to the consumer to read the fine print and do the math themselves... However, this product is actually quite effective in helping those with Anx/Depression to help themselves in the comfort of their own home (at a significant DISCOUNT to private therapy). I've used this product and have recommended its use to others. It's unfortunate that the author of the original rip-off report didn't do his homework about the "fine print" and mark the deadline needed to cancel the offer without any penalty down somewhere he'd see it... And I do hope the author received the help he/she needed in the first place. However, it would be a shame if folks who need the help, and want to try to help themselves before paying privately for treatment, are turned-off by this unfounded Ripoff Report.

It maddens me that you can say this about this wonderfull woman. She doesnt rip you out of your money. This program saved my life. So if you are going to say it doesnt work then you better check your facts again. I met Lucinda Bassett and she is one of the kindest good hearted people i know. She went through this herself when she was younger and now she is helping others like me. I cant believe you can say stuff about her when you dont even know her. If you are saying that i would be better of dead than have her program, then you have nerve.

I am really sorry that people feel they were ripped off. I know that this program is very exspensive, that is why myself along with three other people went in together on buying this program. it really cut the cost and it was no problem sharing the program among the 4 of us. I found this program to be very imformative and extremely helpful. It not only helped me tremendously, but it also helped my friends. I have been able to relieve my panic attacks without any medication and costly Dr. bills that definately cost more than this program. I would reccommend this program, but share the cost with others and share the program.

Yes, this is nothing but an outright SCAM being perpetrated on depressed people. These people are the lowest of the low and their useless tapes are not even worth five dollars, yet they will charge you over $400 in this colossal ripoff!! Lucinda Bassett needs to be jailed for fraud and deceptive business practices just like Miss Cleo was. Advertisements for this scam run on radio and TV, but do not fall for the lies, this is nothing but a heartless, evil, devious scam and they care about nothing else but conning you out of your money, and lots of it. Where is the Federal Trade Commission when it comes to scam artists like this? This ripoff is an absolute disgrace!
