Mile High Restoration Inc.
Aurora,#2REBUTTAL Owner of company
Mon, June 02, 2014
My name is Brian Sorensen, Owner of Mile High Restoration Inc.
There has been a complaint filed against my company from a past employee that has his facts incorrect about my previous employment with WeatherShield Exteriors, LLC.
I was in the production department of WeatherShield Exteriors, LLC for about 8 months, my duties were to estimate job building costs and schedule production of those jobs. I was in charge of scheduling final inspections with the cities and estimating costs associated with the work.
After that my job was to give the files and all documents to the General Manager, Vice-President and President of the company for them to finish up all the costs, payments to the sales people and final collection of money from both insurance companies and homeowners.
After 8 months on the job and starting to see many problems with managment, sales staff, greed, dishonesty and chaos, I decided to build my own company Mile High Restoration Inc., keep it small and hands on so that I would not have to worry about all the troubles with getting too big too fast and not being able to control the quality of company and integrity of doing business the right way.
Unfortunately, I found that my mentor that I had learned so much from had done some unethical things in the past company to old sales people, old installing crews and past business partners. He also ended up taking me for about $3,000 in the end also.
I have since made amends with many of the old sales people, all the installing crews, 3 of the old business partners and also have re-instated my trust with industry leading partners including being a preferred contractor with Ownes Corning, Roof Depot and ABC Supply. I am also a proud member of BBB, Angies List and a plethera of recommendations from every single customer that I have done work for over the past 1 1/2 years.
I'm sure that many of the people that have been wronged in the past by Mike and Veronica will still have many questions and are still angry with them and I totally understand their anger. I am willing to talk with any of them, open up any of my business documents that affect them directly and show them that I had no idea what exactly went on from the past and clear my name with them or anyone that feels that I have wronged them.
One business practice that I have always followed is that anything that I make a promise to, I will have in writing for both me and the other person. If it is not in writing and a name attached to it, is just a rumor and no good can come from that.
I am unaware of what happend with whoever this unidentified person is that is making the claim against Mile High Restoration Inc., but whomever it is, please contact me at 970-231-5794. I will answer any questions you have directly, fairly and honestly.
Sincerely,
Brian Sorensen
