I was desperate for a new start at the time I decided to go to miller-motte. I knew which path I wanted to take and my ultimate career goals, but I also knew that I needed to work while I was in school. This led me to go talk to an advisor at miller motte Conway. Whenever I first met my advisor, she was the sweetest and most kind hearted and seemed genuinely concerned about my future. Little did I know, that was just an act. I told my advisor that I wanted to be a nurse and that I wanted to make sure my credits would transfer to a four year college after I finished there, she straight up LIED and told me yes. So dumb ole me, fell for it and all the fake promises such as getting my old school loans out of default so I could begin school again with a new debt of 28,000+++!! crazy, I know. After classes began, my advisor checked up on me for the first couple of weeks to continue her act of fake sincerity until the next semester of victims came in. By this time, I knew that I had been duped. I had spoken to other colleges of interest and they told me that miller motte course would not transfer bc we are not nationally accredited. Ugh really?! Then I found out my lifetime fafsa would run out After I was done at this scam school. Awesome. So not only is my future RUINED bc of them, I don't even have a chance for redemption. The classes at these schools are kindergarten level. It is insanity at how stupid the instructors are. I was shocked that it was real life. I thought I was being pranked. Secondly the market is saturated in the medical assisting field and no one cares to let you know that upon signing your life away to the devil. This school is 3 times more than what a regular school is and it is FOR PROFIT. do your research and don't let desperation lead you to make the same choice I did. I know for a fact that if I had gone to another school, they would have made it happen for me even though miller motte said that they would not. Don't get conned like me!!

Hello...

I just recently graduated from the Conway campus in April this year and am currently working in my chosen career path as a medical assistant. I came across your complaint and as someone who had nothing but a great experience there I noticed some gaps in your story that you may be confused about and I would certaintly consult with a director at the school to clear things up.

I graduated with my associate's degree and only have a little over $15,000 out in student loans. How much did you already have out before? Did you take all your refund checks? I've never heard of the school giving "fake promises" to get student's out of defaulted loans. Obviously your student loans were taken out of default otherwise you could not have gotten any additional financial aid. My niece's loans from CCU went into default about a year ago and she was able to get assistance from MM's student loan services to consolidate them. As far as being told your credits would transfer I can only say that I was told that my credits are not guarunteed to transfer anywhere except the online Bachelor's. Theres a big difference between MA and Nursing, sorry I just don't believe that is true.

As a proud graduate who busted my tail for my degree with a full-time job and a toddler, I don't think it's fair for people to spread lies about the school, no offense as I'm sure you are just confused about your situation. Please contact me if I can be of any help. Best of luck to you and your education.
