Millersberg Construction Employment Scam

I made the mistake of working for Millersberg Construction. I was promised I would be making more money then I could possibly make at any other company in the storm restoration industry. That they are a legit company, and believe in what they do. They offer the best materials, and warranties. You'll get to go on company trips, and get bonuses. It's the same promise that most storm restoration salesmen fall victum to all the time. The sad part is that most of us believe it...how could this person who truly acts as a friend possibly cheat me. Well the sad truth is that most people in this industry would steal from their own family to make a buck. I've seen it every year, at every company without fail. 

I fell for it with this awful company, and they didn't pay a cent. Not one...They convince the remaining people working for them that it was the other persons fault. Until it happens to them as well.

Shawn Butterfield and Chris Butterfield are by far the worst in the industry. They try and fall back on their subcontractor agreement that you signed, even though they violate the contract more then anyone. None of the actual information is ever shown to the salemen, so they over inflate a cap sheet, and give the salemen a random dollar amount. IF they ever write a check. The worst part is that Shawn Butterfield hires guys to generate business for his scam artist company, has them use their own vehicle, their own fuel, and months down the road when their savings are gone and can no longer complete the work. Shawn claims the projects never got finished, and the jobs were lost so no commission is due. Even though you drive by the jobs, and they have obviously been completed, with a new roof, new siding, etc. 

You get strung along for months with the promise of a huge check, you get backed up on your bills, and then he just never pays you a cent....It makes me sick to my stomach that these people do this with no regard for the people they bring on, and their familys...They're left in debt, relationships ruined, embarassed, and broke.

His rebutle everytime is go ahead and sue me. He knows it's nearly impossible to do anything because he hides any proof, and shreds any evidence. He also knows that he's bled you dry of any money to hire a lawyer to attempt to collect your hard earned money. 

That is only one part of his fraudulent scam. Recently a town Eyota MN was hit with dime sized hail. So what does Shawn do to get claims going. He cons homeowners to let him inspect their property, and search for storm damage that doesn't exist. He went as far as throwing rocks at a homeowners vinyl siding to get an insurance company to cover the remaining part of the undamaged siding. If it's aluminum, he instructs his broke unknowing salesmen to slingshot ice cubes at the home so that an insurance company will cover the damage. If there's a few shingle damaged, he's not shy to use quarters on shingles to have them appear of hail damage. Or to just tear off shingles and blame that on wind damage.

He also claims that he is a "preffered contractor" with Owen Corning, and that homeowners are getting a lifetime warranty. Only he doesn't use all of the components on the roof to even qualify for any warranty. If anything were to happen to your roof, and Owens Corning were to come out...Guess what you're not covered because the owner of Millersberg Constructions, Shawn Robert Butterfield was to cheap to pay for the additional Owens Corning products to qualify for the warranty. 

Bottom line if you see Shawn Robert Butterfield, or anything related to Millersberg Construction runaway. Save yourself the nightmare experience, and choose anyone else. Compalints have been filed to the department of commerce, and charges will be pressed for defrauding multiple victums. Hopefully this drunk, selfcentered crook will spend some time behind bars where he belongs. So that no one else is affected by this sociopath.
