I was warned about this company before purchasing. I was in need of a steel hanger building and my first choice manufactures were backlogged. In the beginning of the purchase process I had minor difficulties with the company from the beginning but worked through it. Several pilot friends and one I didn't know again suggested I forfiet my deposit and go with R&M or Rigid steel as these individuals were aware of major problems with this company thru friends that had purchased a Miracle Truss and experienced difficulties.

Upon receiving the building package and the start of assembly it was determined they had welded the hanger door header in the wrong location. I was purchasing a quality bi-fold door from Sweisse Doors and informed the building manufacture so they could adjust anything that may be required. The salesman acknowledged the Sweisse door and assured me he would contact the appropiate individuals in engineering. Throughout the maunfacturing process I had minor disagreements that turned ugly especially when requesting a color chart so I could choose the roof panel color that was required prior to shipping.

When I contacted the company about the header issue I was directed to the engineering division about my problem. They were somewhat helpful but said they could not repalce the header and I had to speak to someone higher up. I talked with the owner who was very rude and told me I got what I deserved for not buying their door. I tried to explain that I have recorded dates and times of the conversation with the salesman regarding my purchasing the other manufactures door and that the salesman assured me he would notify the correct division so the building would be put together correctly. The owner told me they do not do this and it was my problem.

However they did send me a note offering the sell me another header for $ 879.00 of which I declined as I found many of them locally for $110.00 ( Another attempt at a rip off) The owner continued to lash out and tell me how cheap I was because I didn't buy his door. Sweisse is nationally known as one of the leaders in the industry and have a strap pull up system much superior to Miracle Truss' cable door in my opinion.

I am truly sorry I went with this company and this situation has caused me weeks delay and a lot of trouble. I can only imagine this would turn out exactly the same if it were done again. I was warned several times that this would occur but I believed I could overcome any issues. I was terribly wrong and the cautioneers were right.

Another issue for you folks building a steel hanger and may want to finish off the inside is that their truss beams that go from the floor to the roof extend a huge distance from the wall and will prevent the usual process for putting in a standard wall. It also looks horrible and cheap so I guess the owner was right I did go cheap with the building.

If I were to do it all over again I would rather leve my plane outside than experience the lack of customer service and the rude cussing I experienced for what should have been a businessman wanting to help a customer.

At no time was I threatening to them or even suggested I was considering any legal action. I was cordial and polite as I was seeking some kind of assistance in determining how to relocate the header without compromising the building structure. I never suggested they pay for anything or come fix the problem, all I wanted was help from engineering on how to do it correctly.

I will say that I did contact Sweisse doors and told them of my dilema and they were absoultly awsome in that they offered to take the door back so I could purchase the Miracle Truss door however I choose to keep the Sweisse door. They also went out of their way to suggest alternative measures to fix my problem and also located a welder that is familiar with the buildings and was willing to come to my location to help correct the problem. All of this help from a company that had no responsibility to do so, Sweisse door was a life saver at that point. If you want a quality building without a sure headache I suggest you do diffrent than I did.. Good luck to any of you starting this process.

you should inquire as to the warranty issue should you choose to utilize a third party door manufacture instead of Miracle Truss' hanger door

I was contacted by the Miracle Truss owner offering to reimburse me for my expenses to repair my building. I was appreciative of the companies efforts to repay my expenses and make this amore pleasent experience. Todate I have been made whole in regards to any out of pocket expenses to myself which I believe was a fair offering by Miracle Truss. My initial complaint was raised out of the poor customer service and treatment I had initially received. The company did contact me approx. 4 weeks later and indicate there was a misunderstanding at their end regarding some comments made that caused me to be informed that my warranty was revoked because I had purchased a third party door for the building. At no time was I ever informed that a third party door was an issue with them and felt this inappropiate to revoke my warranty for this reason. Todate this warranty has not been reinsatated however they did make an effort to better the relationship. I have completed the building and it is as advertised and is currently being used as intended. I have not had the need to request any warranty work nor do I anticipate any at this time. The only caviet I have is you should inquire as to the warranty issue should you choose to utilize a third party door manufacture instead of Miracle Truss' hanger door. Good luck to all and happy building.. Marc
