Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I had an interview with this company this morning, before going to the interview I tried to reach the company with no such luck. When I arrived at the location the name of the company was not posted with the other companies with in the building, but I went in anyways to try and find MK Acquistions.

When I got there I too was asked to fill out an application, as well as give them a copy of my resume. When I finally met with the interviewer who I was told was the hiring manager, I was told little about the company. He asked if I had, had trouble finding the building. I responded by saying "Yes it was a little difficult because the name of the company was not posted on the outside."

The "manager" said, "I had some trouble my first time here too, we just moved from MN. I did not even see the location before I rented it, only online." This seemed very strange to me that a company would not go to look at an office space before signing a lease.

When I was asked if I had any questions about the company, i said, "Yes, Actually I was trying to learn more about the company online, but I could not find much." The manager then told me that there is over 500 offices under MK Acquisition that are ran by individuals, and offices are pretty much separate businesses, he went on to say that they are all linked through Smartcircle.com which is a coupon selling business I found out.

He did not go into detail much about the job and said compensation would be discussed in the 2nd interview. He said for the 2nd interview they would ask for a few hours of my time and we would go out to one the the locations.

When I returned home I began researching as much as I could, I found a site that gave information about when they set-up their website it said it was set up in 2008 and was due to expire soon. The website was setup using Dotster.com a free website creator site. Why would such a big company use a free webpage creator? This makes me wonder with the near expiration date of the website, could their name be changing?

If I do get called back I will not be going.

I was schedule to have an interview but i canceled it because the number i called the lady goes by three names: Vanessa, Valerie, Danielle. How do i know this? I was looking for jobs on all the job sites and MK acquisitions posted on all these websites with the same contact number but different name. I called 3 times asking for this lady and it was the same lady each time. The area code is 909 which is a california area code. If it is such a great business then why don't they have their own area code in maumee which is 419. they have so many loose ends this company needs to clean up.

the website has a star in minnesota but say the head quarters are in ohio. either they failed geography or something is fishy. If you researched this company they previously were at minnesota under a different name. RED FLAG.

hope this helps!
