Mobile-soundworks Design Audio Sold defective stereo,and is holding it captive for 14 weeks so far under false pretense of warranty Santa Ana California
I bought a car stereo from a sham of a company called Mobile-soundworks AKA Design Audio on ebay.I received the stereo last Jan.24th and did not install it until mid May as it was too cold here in Wisconsin.It was in the car for less than 10 days when it quit working.I contacted the company for a refund due to defect but they were not concerned with keeping good customer relations in tact.I had to pay freight for the stereo to be returned to them for warranty repairs/replacement.They said it may take up to 12 weeks for me to get it back or replaced.Its now been 14 weeks and no word no stereo and they have now had it for over 1/3 of the stereos warranty period.I wanted a new stereo or a refund as this unit was defective and they have just ignored my requests and I want everyone to see them for what they are a SCAM.Once they have your money they want nothing more to do with keeping you happy and honoring their false warranty.I talked to the manufacturer of the stereo and they stated that if it were defective all this company needed to do was replace it or refund my money,and they would reimburse the seller full price.But the seller lied to me and said that Alpine would not give a replacement only repair it.They are liars and crooks and dont have the balls to even call you to negotiate a settlement,and usually dont reply to you emails either.

The AKA name of this fraud company is Dimension Audio,not the company listed as the AKA in the post.My mistake
