Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I used to work at MGV for almost three months. I thought to myself that this was the best job I had ever landed in my life!

The company was one big happy family....unitl the day when I approached my to lead supervisors and said to them "I think there is some deception going on in the sale tactics of this company" Well let me tell you the party stoped after that right away. I was subject to constant phone survalence I was being watched all the time by my leads and all of my calls were monitored.

This is when I started to figure out that the company had hidden agendas and that the sales team would use sexy sales girls to lie and cheat people or "Owners"

as they like to refer them. This is how the scam works

Have you ever gone to the mall and filled out one of those "Win a Car sweepstakes"?

Let me explain This company would call you after two weeks and tell you that you that you are a grand prize winner and that you will stay at one of the Las Vegas hotels that they have vochers for incidently My supervisor in charge of owner services was selling these two-three day mini trips and was caught, the company gave him and his partner a slap on the hand ok so then they say that you have been entered to win a big prize but first you need to go and listen to a 90minute presentation on the resort then you'd be able to seek your prize

The calls I used to reiceve were that no one had ever explained the point system on how to rent these time share for thier family to use, given that that's how you rent these units at the presentaion that I attended Points were "NEVER" brought up till I inquired about them and at that time they were still giving me mis-leading and wrong information.

They never mentioned to anyone that there is a six month wait to use the points they need to rent the timeshare with.

Lie #1

Owners would always tell me that they used all their points in one weekend because they would be renewed at the end of the year.

You get your points every two years but they don't really say it like that and again they never mention Points

Lie #2

I asked our host if anyone outside of the company or a non-owner could rent the complex out or if they rented to the public He assured me that only owners were able to rent these premises

Lie #3 ANYONE can rent out the property that should be for "Owners" only Sun-Thurs.

I asked my host if I could rent my time share months in advance for a fight or to rent out to friends, he and the sales lady said that yes it was possible for me to do that she paused for a minute and then said no I think that you can rent it out for up to a year in advanced

Lie #4

The only way that you can rent the property out w/out using your points is 1-45 days in-advance and when ever you rent it out you the owner have to be present.

At Monarch Grand Vacations they were more intersted in trying to show me more of the extras that I would be getting if I was to join then to show me the properties that I was really there to see My wife and I have had all the lie's to handle for a lifetime.HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS FOLKS!

So after explaining the program to my wife and I for three hours here's what happened. My host and the sales lady said that the whole enchilada was going to cost me only $13,889 dollars at 10% down and 285.00 payments per month, Then I mentioned to him that I had gone on-line and found the properties they were selling me for alot less then they were offering.

the sales lady then said that she would give me a deal of 8,889 out the door but that would only be for the purchace of a one bedroom time-share.

I still said that the offer I was getting on-line would surpass any deal they were offering!

She then came back with a figure of 6,885 out the door But w/no extras no free weekends or getaway weekends and specials that they were offering at the higher rate of 13,889, 8,889,and 6,885

here's the best part when all else had failed they brought in another sales guy "A CLOSER" if you will and offered the whole program with extras and specials to me as a in-house inventory special for only $4,900 out the door 200.00 down and 80.00 payments per month.

I didn't take it I felt that if I could talk them down $8,989.00 the property was not worth it! I feel sorry for everyone that has bought into Monarch Grand Vacations.

The whole time my wife and sat and watched the presentaion they would pop balloons to let everyone that a sale had been made, I hope that people that bought that weekend got all the special's and promtions at 4900.00 and not an exspensive 10,889.00
