Money Gram ,procured At Wallmart, Money Gram will not honor or guarantee money. Consumer Ripoff!!! Sacramento California
This date of 8-4-09; this writer did purchase a money gram for 1200.00 cash at Wall*Mart 6310 S. HWY 85-87 Fountain Co 80817 [7193911700]
They charged 71.00 for their service. The money gram was to be retrieved at Bel-Aire Grocery Store, 1301 Florin Rd. Sacramento CA 95831.
BUT; Bel-Air Grocery Store, eventhough they say they are part of the money gram service would not give the proper person (ID and Confirmation # was presented) the money. They stated that, they could only give 500.00 cash and no more. And it did not matter that this writer gave 1200.00 cash + 71.00 cash for the transaction. So in their rude and nasty disposition they gave the proper person 500.00 and a money order from "Money Gram" with a Wells Fargo Bank issuing on it. A trip to Chase bank revealed that the Money Gram was worthless as a fart in a space suit. A trip back to Bel-Air, after a heated discussion with the "B" "There is nothing we can do" attitude; finally a manager was able to take the Money Gram Money Order and change it into a Money Order that was good. Then another trip to Chase Bank.
Advise to Consumers: DO NOT USE MONEY GRAM - IT WON"T BE TOO LONG BEFORE THEY TELL THE CONSUMER, "THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO" AND YOU GET NOTING EXCEPT A LARGE J/A ATTORNEY BILL. AND THEY KNOW YOU MOST LIKELY WON'T SUE.
"MONEY GRAM" DOES NOT GUARANTEE THEIR MONEY AND THEIR MONEY ORDER IS SUBJECT TO HOLDS AND RIPOFFS BY THRID PARTIES NOT ASSOCIATED WITH MONEY GRAM.
MOST OF ALL THEY DO NOT HAVE TO PAY THE MONEY THEY RECEIVED AS CASH. THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU THIS WHICH IS A DECEPTION AND A LIE. MUCH LIKE SATAN THE ORIGINAL LIER. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!
