I have a Razor E300S electric scooter Version 1 and needed a new Thumb Throttle Switch. Before purchasing, I called Monsterscooterparts, and was confirmed (as their website states) that the part I was going to order would work with my version of scooter.



I received the part and it had four colored wires (the colors did not match the wire colors on my unit and also did not match the wire colors on the schematic on monsterscooterparts website. I called and was instructed how to wire the switch. After connecting the switch in every possible wire color option (with their tech on the phone instrucing me) it still did not work. The tech gave me the number for Razor and told me to call them to verify if the switch they sent me would work on my version of scooter (the tech stated that Razor had changed wire coloring on items in the past and maybe this switch would not work after all). After 45 minutes on the phone with Razor, I was told that the switch they sent me would not work on my verizon of scooter. Razor then sold me the correct Thumb switch and shipped it to me.



I called monsterscooterparts back and after alot of hassle was given an RMA to return the part but they would not send me a prepaid UPS label to cover the shipment. I had to pay for the initial shipment and the return shipment when they shipped me a part that would not work?????? Very poor customer service.
