If this is a company offering a loan modification for a fee stay clear and contact your lender directly.
A mortgage lender will not charge you a fee to review your information for a modification.
Also ask yourself this: How do you think this company is going to get a modification done any faster than by you working directly with the lender yourself?
Keep in mind that if the company tells you any forclosure preceeding will stop during the modification process they are not telling you the truth. The legal process wil continue but there may be an option to have a sheriff sale suspended if it looks like a modification can be approved.
Once again DO NOT pay anyone to help modify your mortgage.

Back in July I file a rip off report on Mortgage Law Group. I received a phone call today that took care of the problem and I am getting my money back and it will be done very quickly. Put on the fast track. There was a mix up with a salesperson wanting the sale then left the Mortgage Law group and today Chief of operations got to the bottom of everything and took care of it.
They deal with with many clients everyday and they took care of me. Shows they are a good company to work with.
