MovieCube fraudulent charges Houston Texas
Beyond the horrible selection of older B rated movies that MovieCube provides, they also overcharge. I reviewed my bank statement to find a charge for $37.09 from the company despite my diligence in returning the rented dvd's on time. This isn't the first time I've had a problem...was overcharged on a rental a ways back but disregarded it seeing as it was only a dollar and change. I called the customer service line...had a pretty quick response time to talk to a live person. She reviewed the charge and stated that it will be credited back to my account. I asked her why I was charged the fee and she said that she has no idea why. Then I asked her if this was common to which she replied she didn't know. She than stated that she couldn't promise that this wouldn't happen again! So why use a service that is charging fees for no particular reason in the hopes that you don't catch it as a consumer?! Stick with redbox...I've had much better luck. Also, don't use your bank card...use a credit card...you have much better protection with the credit companies than you do the bank. I hope this report helps...and I hope that you think twice before using MovieCube.
