Oh where to begin with MovieWork Now Casting (formally Arizona Media Resources)....

All of the reports that are written on here are absolutely true.

MovieWork puts ads up advertising for the need of extras. The ad that I read in the paper said it was part time, on-call work. Easy way to make extra cash...
By the way.. I see they are now advertising on Craigslist

I called and made an appointment to interview and they told me to dress professional.
So I figured this might be legit... but boy was I wrong!
I asked if there was a fee or if they were going to pitch me on buying classes. The lady said no... "There is no fee for extra work". I asked her twice and got the same responce. So I decided just to go to my appointment.

When I arrived I thought the place looked decent (I was fooled by the blown up photos of people "on set"). I waited over an hour for my "interview" and clearly dressed up for nothing. The waiting room was filled with trashy people.

Once I finally got to meet Barbara she seemed alright but she was older than dirt and wore huge tacky jewelry. She gave me this long pitch about how I shouldn't bother with just extra work and that I would be great on film. She wanted to take shots of me and "over night them to directors". But these shots were gonna be 300$!!!! I told her no thank you but she insisted that I come back and do a shoot. For some crazy reason I came up with the money and did the shoot.

It was actually pretty fun!

I made an appointment to come back to look at my pictures. Once again I waited forever to see Barbara. I sat in this back room full of outdated movie posters. Then Barbara actually had the nerve to ask for more money for copies of my photos.
Once again I got more money for photos.

I went to about 2 auditions/casting calls at Moviework. There was never good jobs on the website. They never had anything I could really do to even make my money back. I gave my Grandma and Grandpa my photos from Movieworks for Christmas. Thats about all the pictures were good for.

Please dont waste your time and spend your money here. These people are money hungry. And I am dissapointed I was another sucker.
