MovieNow Network ripoff, does not get you extra work, takes your money and you get nothing Phoenix Arizona
I went in with my daughters for movie extra work, the sales person takes you into a room. Gives you a spiel using all the Big names in movie business namely SAG. To get you to think they work with SAG. They tell you that they are in need of people like you, fat, skinny, black, white, etc.
So my daughter really wants to do this, and I say what the heck I will try it also. I pay them $260.00 for each of us to start, movienow personel sends us back to this room for our photo shoot. When the pictures come back I tell them I do not like the pictures of myself I do not want to be a part of this because I feel like I am not a good candidate for movies. I would like to have a refund since only a day had went by they had not done anything with me besides pictures.
They insisted that they had done a photo shoot on my all of 30 min and typed up my resume (a word document) anyone can do. And that should cost 260.00 I do not think so. I told them they could keep the 260.00 and work with my daughter because she really wanted to do this.
After hours of arguing with them I finally said okay. Let's just take pictures of my other daughter and call it even. That was done they said to call the hotline number and it would have the work on the line we could make copies of the pictures send them out to casting agencies, etc. I paid them to do all this but now they tell me to do this.
It has been 5 months now and I have not received a call from them to see if I have gotten work or even a letter to keep in contact. This place is a joke and I wished that someone would have told me before I gave them my 520.00.
