regretfully after months of frustration I have nowhere to turn but to Ripoffreport.com

Be Aware!!

I am not here to vent about my anger towards Moving On Time (They moved my stuff close to a year ago...) I am here to simply report what my Private Investigator found out about this company. Through simple Google searches, facebook, other message boards anyone can pretty much find anything these days. I am simply upset about my lack of investigation skills that I used when I decided to move all my worldly possessions.

Apparently Moving On Time - East Moving - and City Vanlines are all owned by the same people. They pretend to be an actually moving company, but when it becomes time for the actual move a different discounted mover shows up. These moving brokers supply you with the lowest quality movers around. This affords them ( moving on time) the highest commissions possible. There is no need to me to write the names of the real owners of this apparent moving scam company as a simple search on Google for "moving on time" can give you that very simple information.

I will not even give Moving On Time the decency of posting my Moving Story on the internet as I have called them over 100 times to try and fix the matter, but no one there seems to care. I have spoken to Moving on Time dozens of times and each time the same people answer the phone yet they swear to me that they have different names.

Consider yourself warned. NEVER use a moving broker. ALWAYS ask " what does it say on the side of your truck". NEVER reserve a moving job before actually meeting with the movers so that they can do an in home binding estimate. I DO NOT CARE how much money these " discounted" movers claim they can save you. They will steal your stuff, as they did mine, and pretend they have no affiliation to you. The police will not help you as this is a business matter.

The BBB doesn't care because they pay money to be a member and therefore can do whatever they want. ( if you think the BBB cares just stick in BBB Scam into the search on ripoffreport.com and see how many hits you get...)

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! Never use Moving on Time, City Vanlines, or East Moving. They are all the same moving broker company! I just wish I could have seen the warning signs before I let all my things get stolen!

When reading a negative review regarding Moving On Time, or any other business for that matter; please be aware that there are always two sides to every story and you, as the reader, are getting only one side of the story. As a professional; Moving On Time does not feel it is appropriate to post information on any site that may reflect badly on any of its customers, even a customer who is dissatisfied. We are happy to state that we complete over 450 moves each month and are proud of our 99.5 percent customer satisfaction rate. This being said, we are still committed to making every reasonable effort to resolve any dissatisfaction from the other 0.5 percent.

Could you please let me know exactly what happened to your furniture? I'm very curious. I'm thinking about using this company, but don't understand what exactly they did wrong.

Dear Mr. "Nathan self righteous" I love it when you say, "I have not a clue whether this is another moving company or competitor trying to tarnish our firm or our good name". It sounds as if you actually think you are an honest man. It sounds as if you honestly think that this complaint COULD NOT have been from a really pissed off past customer. SHAME ON YOU! Please answer me this... 1: Have you ever told a prospective client that you are indeed a broker, and will not be performing their move? 2: Are you actually claiming that you are not the owner of these other companies??? look at movingscam.com its all over the place. You have got to be kidding me... 3: I will not disclose my info, not because I am a big bad competitor trying to hurt your "honest" business, but because I am afraid for my life. The moving company you set me up with was a bunch of lunatics who made it very clear to me that if I did speak out, I would be "dealt with". 4: Is all the negative information on Movingscam.com just a bunch of lies that your "competitors" wrote up? Shame on you for thinking the world is so ignorant. In addition it just peeves me when you say, "People here work hard and you are stealing their food out of their hands!" Answer me those questions, and we will see who is the one stealing food! What about the fact that you are located in Palestine? the proof of that is also all over MovingScam.com Let the word be known, these guys are not legit, and while I am terrified for my life, I will not be stopped. Shame on you "Nathan" for trying to hide behind a scam business. While the world economy is hurting you are trying to take advantage of others. Shame on you middle easterners! Your bad deeds will be your end.

I would like to address the complaint filed by 'Tiredofbeingrippedoff', Daniel from Beverly Hills (???) after extensive searching moves that may fall into this category I have failed to locate such a move. I have not a clue whether this is another moving company or competitor trying to tarnish our firm or our good name. There are several holes in this story which leads me to believe that fact. First, the client claims we moved them yet he will not give his real name simply because he doesn't want help? After reading this posting to be quite honest with you I am not sure what to think, I can not understand most of what this person is saying there are so many inconsistencies with this posting. While we are not a perfect company I believe upon researching our firm you will see that we try to do all that we can to satisfy all of our clients to the best of our ability. I do not see anything on this posting saying that we did anything wrong. Also, if this were a real client I have to wonder why they never contacted our firm and considering the fact that we didn't get any voice mail or any Daniel from any move about this matter. If this phantom client would like to communicate with me I would be more than happy to speak with them about their 'horrible' experience. In regards to all of the "Private Investigator work", I'm sorry to break the news to you - you are wrong and none of the info is true. Use your time doing good things for people and stop trying to destroy peoples businesses! It will all come back to you and you know that! People here work hard and you are stealing their food out of their hands! You disgust me! What people do today to make money...
