I'd ordered FREE business cards through Vistaprint.com back in October of 2003, so I thought they were free. The advertisement said, "FREE BUSINESS CARDS"- and apparently all I had to pay was the shipping and handling charge.

Well, silly me- I gave them my credit card information so they can bill me for the shipping and handling charge and apparently by me doing so- I'd also registered to become a member of Reservation Rewards & another company by the name of MWI Business MAX. Anywho this was back in October and up until last week I had not 1 lick of a clue that I'd become a 'member' of these scamful companies.

Last week, after coming back from a 3 month medical leave I received something in the mail notifying me that my balance was minus $100.00+. I checked my statements and come to find out that these 2 companies have been charging my account for the past 8 months. As if that wasn't enough, for the 3 months that I was our of work and didn't have an income, they continued to charged me and as a result I incurred over $100.00 in Overdraft fees.

I called both companies and Reservation Rewards said they would reimburse for all of the money they've been taking. And last week so did BusinessMax. However, when I checked my statement they'd only creditted me for only 1 month. I called this company again and they informed me that 'unfortunately, there wasn't anything they could do to resolve the issue and that I had a responsibility to cancel the membership'.

I could've gone into it and asked how I was suppose to have known that I'd become a member if I'd never received anything nor did I ever give them permission to take money from my account, but I figured it be hopeless.

Moral of the Story: Those business cards ended up being the most expensive business cards ever. NOTHING IS FREE!!!
