MWI Galleria MWI Essentials ripoff fraudulent business Internet
In March of 2003 I signed for a free trial with MWI Essentials, through an offer on my netflip website. I was given an opportunity to receive a free Monster's In. DVD and all I had to pay was the 1 dollar shipping and hndling charge.
I decided within the allowed time period that I didn't want the membership and called to cancel so the membership charge of $139.95 would not be charged to my account. While doing my online banking I noticed that on April 4, 2003 that charge was deducted from my account.
I called the 800 number that was on my statement and the man who I spoke with was very rude and pushy in trying to get me to keep the membership anyway after I told him I had already cancelled and just wanted my money refunded, because I did cancel in the allowed time period. He said my account would be credited the amount charged, but I don't appreciate being more or less badgered from this man
