MWI*Simple Escapess ripoff Took unauthorized $134.95 from checking account plus caused overdraft fees fraudulent ripoff business Internet
My checking account was missing $134.95 which overdrew my account. I found out from my bank a debit occured from a company named MWI*Simple Escapes which I did not give my personal and Financial information to. A phone number came with the debit and so I called it.
It was a company offering free DVD's, Sony DVD player, and various gift cards. I argued with the person on the phone that I never authorized this transaction however I saw free DVDs in an email I received so I opened the site. once I saw it asked for personal information I closed it.
When asked how he got my checking account number he said they were affiliated with AOL who I authorize to pay my monthly fee by a debit card to my checking account! I was told it would take 7-10 business days to get my money back when it took over night to take it. I have received $90 in overdraft charges because of this unlawful act! I should sue them!!! Beware!!!!
I have seen this has happened to many people everywhere on this rip off reporting sight under Simple Escapes.
