Complaint Review: My Creative Brands - Internet

Thank you for responding to my complaint. I would like to make a few things clear. Everything that I presented as a fact, is factual to the best of my knowlege. For purposes of clarification:

(1) I have no first hand or second hand knowlege of the quality of services provided by My Creative Brands. (My complaint is strictly limited to the email marketing practices of this company) The information in my report comes from the receipt of emails only.

(2) My client never opted-in to receive any emails from My Creative Brands. (Let alone emails from 15+  domains associated with the brand. This makes it very hard to block/filter these unsolicited emails.)

(3) My client has no prior business dealings or relationship with My Creative Brands. (A prior business relationship is one of the exceptions to opt-in requirements of can-spam)

(3) When an email is blocked or reported as spam you should be using a commercial email service provider that will automatically remove the receipent from your master list. I do not click unsubscribe or other links from companies that I have not given permission to email me. (To prevent malware/viruses)

(4) I am a marketing professional and changing domain names like you change shoes for the purposes of sending email is not a good practice. There are better ways to track emails. Some examples are landing pages or a tracking phone number. Links within an email can also be made trackable.

(5) The content of the emails that is sent is practically identical and sent at a very high frequency. Receiving multiple emails in a week is a common occurence.

I have attempted to unsubscribe using your link. Hopefully I receive no further correspondence from MCB.

I am the owner of this company and I take these false accusations very seriously. We own thousands of domain names and have thousands of satisfied customers since 2010, many of them repeat buyers who highly recommend us and leave testimonials on our webiste. Most importantly, we transfer ownership of our domains before any payment is required so our customers feel safe and secure in the transaction.

We use multiple email addresses to market our domains for the purpose of tracking our results, a common practice used by marketers of products and services. In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, we immediately unsubscribe any party from receiving emails as requested via a unsubscribe link on every email we send. Once a party is unsubscribed, they will never receive a message from us again, no matter what email address we use past, present or future. If a party contacts us and asks to be unsubscribed, we do so immediately. We can also unsubscribe an entire domain per request, ensuring that no one at that domain will ever be contacted. We even provide space on our unsubscribe form for a party to unsubscribe multiple domains, or a domain other than the one to which a specific email was sent. Or, that party can contact us by email or phone, identifying which domains they want blocked, and we will comply immediately. If a party does not unsubscribe via the link in the email, or does not make an effort to contact us, there is nothing we can do.

We take our customer service very seriously. I invite this complainant to contact me directly to provide me with any email addresses or domains they want blocked, and I will ensure they are never contacted again. I can also connect this or any other party to numerous attorneys nationwide who avail themselves of our services on a regular basis. They will attest to the fact that our services are valuable and our business practices are completely legitimate. I look forward to bringing a resolution to this matter.
