While subscribing to My Life on 10/20/09, apparantly an offer popped up that provided me with a 30 day free trial to Savings Ace/Adaptive Marketing of Omaha, Nebraska. I may have thought that I was finishing my sign up for My Life and entered my credit card information. After 30 days, if you don't cancel the membership, you will be charged anywhere from 19.95 up to 23.95 per month. It is very slick the way this happened. I caught it as I was looking over my bank statements for the year and saw a "recurring" monthly charge.I called the number at 888-593-5216 to discuss the problem. They were willing to refund my last monthly charge. I asked for a complete refund for the year since Ididn't knowingly subscribe to their service. They will review it and get back to me within 3 days, supposedly.I personally feel that My Life and Savings Ace have conspired to rip people off. I hope some government official, FBI agent, etc. sees this and looks into it.
