My Product Center is a pyramid scheme, claiming for you to make money while others buy your products. They give you your own website where you have to get the traffic yourself and give you choices on what you want your one product to be. (The product is another website or something to that affect.) The actual background part of it seems legit. This site itself is "one of those products" off another pyramid scheme.

I denied the first two times. The first one was 49.95, the second offer was for 29.95, and finally the third was 17.00. I saw the money back guarantee and figured what the heck?

They have very helpful videos and tutorials and it did seem easy to set up until I went to "start my own website". It didn't even work. The page wouldn't even come up, it just kept saying void.

I tried contacting their "help representative" asking for help twice. They never responded. I finally got fed up and asked for a refund 3 times and counting, and never once have received a response.

Their money back guarantee is for 56 days. The 57th day is probably when they will get back to me and say the period is up....

Hello, This is a response to the two comments in this report, with additional information. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience and/or bad experience you have had. We are working hard to provide the best service available, and we have encountered a few unforeseen software issues. First and foremost, regarding not receiving any response, I can confirm that was one of the problems we encountered with a third party software from a reputable support software company. From our position, all contacts were responded to. However, the software failed to notify any of the representatives that responses were not actually being delivered. This is a problem we recently discovered and it has been remedied. Second, and important to acknowledge, My Product Center is not in any way a pyramid scheme. It is a legitimate service that makes it easy for non-technical people to have their own website and product that they can sell online. We do not make any revenue off of member sales. All transactions that are processed on a member website are processed through their own payment account, and receive 100% of their sales. The website simply makes the connection, and automatically provides access to the product upon successful payment notification from the payment processor. All of the products and websites that our members receive the right to use are developed exclusively for My Product Center. They are designed to perform. The ability to modify the website is limited as our target customer is someone who wants to sell products online, but does not have the time, experience or resources to create and set everything up. As it stands, any member has the ability to make money with their website, whether they have a free or paid account. This is a fact, as there are members who are making money with their website. Few things we provide that should be considered: - Free ticket support (including phone support to paid accounts, phone number is on help pages) - Plenty of website automation (that otherwise would be hard for most people to use) - Many training videos (which are helpful and acknowledged above) - Interactive internet sales training course - Answer search that is constantly updated - Free online training courses (set to go live very soon, and available to all paid accounts) - Multi-product websites (currently in development) - There is much more... I had a similar problem with this company . No mentor support for one. A question submitted was still unanswered after three weeks and there was no provision to ask another if the first had not been answered. Never had an answer. I tested the newsletter sign up to see if the emails were coming in to my site. The test emails didn't appear on the contact list. The contacts that did come in were a little suspicious to say the least and nothing came of the enquiries. The website "control panel" was a farce. It gave no control whatsoever over the site except to change the item price and description a little. There was no facility to add further advertising or increase the number of products featured at one time on "my" website. Having paid via Clickbank I applied to them for a refund (stating the above) which they were able to issue under the terms of the 8 week money back guarantee. I did not get the search engine advertising fee back as it was a "different" company but I will write that off to experience. If you get no response from MY PRODUCT CENTER, I somehow doubt that there is anyone there actually, then apply to Clickbank. I paid through Clickbank and Paypal which gives a certain measure of customer/consumer support. As for the claim that it would cost in excess of $1400 to set up the website that is in my opinion misleading. I set up a 5 page website (just one of 20 that I can have for the all inclusive price with my web-hosting service) for a pro-bono site for a friend costing me less than 40 ($80) per year over two years (unlimited bandwidth & loads of extras). See http://ebonys-story.rosielife.co.uk. I even got a 3 month free trial to test my project. That made MPC's offer look less than generous. All in all I feel that the MPC episode will not be one that I will remember with affection as it makes me feel like an absolute fool for falling for it. I have however had the satisfaction of getting my money back. A classic case of caveat emptor.
