I bought an ipod via theit internet site, i received a mail saying the order was processed (monday 13/12/2005) I tried phining the number supplied to check my order, but i got ' mailbx sull' message. I sent a mail, no reply. I then started getting concerned on Thurdsday. I noticed their 'chatline' and talked to the person called SAndra. I asked the state of my order, she said it i in a warehouse still, in stock. after a short period I realised there was not going to be an order for me. I asked the company's addres, she told me she is not allowed to tell me. Meanwhile I tried phoning them, same reply. I then asked to cancel my order, she told meshe could not do it. I sent a mail asking to cancel it. NO reply. I sent a mail telling tehm I contacted my lawyer, no reply. I rang again today 17/12, no answer, mailbox full. I talked again on the chat line, again a person called Sandra, but she said she was a different sandra. a third Sandra I chatted to. I again asked to cancel my order. She told me I HAVE to telephone to get this done. I told her noone takes teh call so it is impossible to do. SHe said this was a quiet time. SHe then took my number and said her manager would call me. I am still waiting.

I have no refund, noway of getting a refund . I really am so angry as this was done so cleverly and I trusted. There is noway I can get throught to them and I cannot afford another ipod. It was a present for my daghter who lives in UK, we are in Sweden.

My credit card company will repay the full money charged by MYDV for the ipod after 40 days without f the order any problem. I got through on the phone to MYDV to cancel the order. They promised to confirm cancellation within 24 hours after trying to get me to keep the order with a promise of 15% of the cost added to my credit card. I insisted on the cancellation. After 2 days I received an e-mail to say that my order will be with me in 7-10 days! But I had cancelled it and had stated it at least 5 times that my wish was to cancel the order. Needless to say 2 weeks later I am atill waiting for either.

I too ordered an ipod from this scam site. But i got a refund through my credt card company. If you ordered through credit card you can still get a refund just ring up your card company and explain what happened they by law have to refund your money. Their is also a website which can provide you with many cntact numbers for mydv not all of these work butits worth a try it's www.mydv-ripoff.co.uk go to whoismydv for info on contacts and go to advice for more info on how to get your money back through your credit card
