N2 Publishing Hannah Bouwmeester Events don't happen or if they do terrible execution. Ads wrong, Deadlines ridiculous Wilmington North Carolina
Filed a complaint with the North Carolina AG's office and the State of Michigan's Ag office. Total rip off. Other advertisers ripped off as well. Cancelled contract due to misrepresentation. I advised they were not authroized to charge my credit card anymore. They did anyway. Cancelled due to events that were non existent or if one did actually happen no one showed up. Ads were constantly wrong. I was listed wrong in the magazine, advised to correct. Still wrong. Ad corrections were ignored and wrong ads ran. One ad where the disclaimer said: "Information contained in this ad is not deemed accurate or guaranteed". The ad was for sales statistics for REal Estate. The ad rep was an air head. Turns out the only two advertisers I knew that ran ads I called ot see what their experience was after I cancelled my ad to see if I was the only one. Both said the same thing, Hannah lied, avoided their calls, events were cancelled without any notification. Great idea, but cannot pull it off. They offered me a 2200 dollar buy out which. Ifelt was extortion. I spent 4900 at this point and I was just trying to cut my losses. They are trying to hold me to a 30,000 3 year contract even though I was lied to, ads were wrong, and I had enough. I am hoping my experience will at least make people make them proove their promises before falling for this. Truly digusted with this company. I don't have time to be writing these posts and doing all the research I have been doing, but no body deserves this kind of rip off. Espeically when they hide behind "christian values." That is beyond repulsive. There are much better publications in TC to advertise with. And as far as events? Go out and get in the public eye, these events are all but non existent and total BS!

Thank you for letting us address your concerns. Although anonymous, based on information in your review, we believe we’ve identified your account and found that an agreement resolving the dispute has been reached between you and N2. While N2 strongly disagrees with the characterizations of your review, we would like to take a moment to express regret for the souring of our relationship and to address some of your concerns.
First, communications between you and the Area Director show you approved the ads before they ran each month.
Second, the buyout you reference was a good faith attempt to resolve your contract dispute and we believe it is grossly unfair to mischaracterize it as extortion. Although you may have been unhappy with your experience, N2 honestly felt that it fulfilled its obligations under our agreement and was simply trying to protect its legitimate business interests while also finding a fair compromise.
Third and last, we strive to be a values-based company, but we are not perfect. Whatever our shortcomings, though, we do not seek to “hide behind” our values or use them as a marketing ploy. We make sincere effort to do things the right way and hope that our efforts to resolve things with you prove those intentions.
We hope this helps shed some light on our perspective, and wish you the best of luck in the future.
