Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I had the same phone call and $200 deducted from my checking account on March 17, 2003. I asked up front was this money coming right back to me. I was told that I will get 2 $100 vouchers in the mail that I could deposit right back into my account.

Then I was told that I would have a credit limit of $2500 and of it $1000 cash would be available immediately if I needed it. The only thing I had to do was call and request it.

I called to make that request and I was told I had to make 3 months payments before I could receive the money. I asked for an 800 number to call by the number being long distance and I was told that there wasn't one.

I stated that I wanted to close my account and I wanted my $200 back because I didn't agree to the terms. The lady played a recording back of the conversation.

Naturally, terms that I agreed to were not on the tape. Everything that I agreed to was said before the recording started. I did agree for the deduction, but I was told that I had to first return the form that was coming in the mail along with a voided check before anything would be done.

I did not return that form. I was told that I had to give them $35 in order to close out my account. I called back again and I was told by Ian that he would close my account.

Today, March 20, 2003 I call my bank and another $200 had been deducted from my account from these same people. I called and the man stated that his records indicated that my account was closed.

He then put me on hold and stated that he was sorry for any inconvenience and they would credit my account back for the $400 and it would take 10 days. Now I don't understand why it will take so long. As quick as they can go in and take the money out of your account, they should be able to put it back in just as quickly.

I will be taking further action to get my money back. Now my account is messed up because of these ripoffs. I don't have $400 for them just to take because they want to and I'm the one who has to suffer while I wait to get my money back.
