Naples Custom Hitch and Trailer Company ecustomhitch.com Bait and Switch business practice combined with Evil management Naples, Florida
Ordered part #24670 dircetly from Ecustomhitch.com / Naples Custom Hitch and Trailer by phone at advertised price $159.60 Order and payment was accepted. In follow-up phone call from Ecustomhitch.com / Naples Custom Hitch and Trailer was told item not available, however, lesser part available at more than double advertised price (substitute item actually inferior to original because did not include drawbar).
I ordered same item from same vendor on Amazon.com. for $139.65. That order also accepted and payment made. Naples Custom Hitch and Trailer Manager, Joanne (sp) took my Amazon.com order number from me, cancelled that second order and informed me part no longer available, however, equivalent (lesser) part available at more than double advertised price. Then manager Joanne had inferior manager, Jeff, author slanderous, dishonest anonymous email to me through Amazon.com.
It would have been a small matter for Ecustomhitch.com / Naples Custom Hitch and Trailer to sell me the lesser product for the original price if the company was honest in doing business.
Ecustomhitch.com / Naples Custom Hitch and Trailer Company too busy to operate without critical stocking errors and claim themselves incompetent to manage their own inventory,or worse, may be using said excuse to practice 'bait-and-switch' business policies.
I repeatedly tried to explain to Ecustomhitch.com / Naples Custom Hitch and Trailer personnel that I spent many hours researching and studying products available from the company, only to be told product not available after my order was accepted from two separate orders: by phone order with the company directly and Amazon.com, though was advised both times that a lesser product was available to me from the company at more than double the price that I had already submitted payment for (the originally offered item.) I further explained the error is the responsibility of Ecustomhitch.com / Naples Custom Hitch and Trailer and the company should accept responsibility for their own mistake instead of forcing the cost of the error onto me.
I must repeat: It would have been a small matter for Ecustomhitch.com / Naples Custom Hitch and Trailer to sell the lesser product for the original price if the company was honest in doing business especially when it's their own admitted incompetence causing the liability.
Instead, the company and its representative managers act dishonorable and prove their malicious intent by riting anonymous, slanderous email to me and misrepresent there actions/reactions instead of simply accepting the relatively small cost of their own mistake.
Naples Custom Hitch and Trailer demands that I pay for their mistake in the loss of my time in researching, ordering and finally defending myself against slander generated by the company for calling them out for this shady way of doing business.
