National Affidavit Processing Department Ripped off scared and angry Phoenix Arizona
My best friend and my sister received a phone call from someone by the name of Andy. They both told me that they have been called because they could not get a hold of me and there was a major lawsuit against me for fraud and that if I did not respond immediately my 2 contacts which I had placed on an online cash advance will have to make the payments or I will be prosecuted. Needless to say, I was scared.
I called and spoke to someone by the name of Curtis Jackson who had a very heavy Indian accent, was very rude and angry. He pretended to put me on hold and when he came back on the phone he was requesting a payment of $1790.00 to settle the so-called lawsuit. I was so scared that I made arragements to pay $597.00 and the rest later. He gave me 2 hours to come up with the cash. I came up the cash but thank goodness something clicked inside my head.
First of all, no creditor can call and threaten you. Second, If I made an online cash advance all my information was legit therefore, fraud was out the question. So I decided to call back and the same guy I had spoken to before identified himself as Andy Curtis. I told him I did not have money and he said that apparently I had no good faith to resolve the issue.
When I requested the name of the company I owed to, he mentioned Cash Advance USA and I never had a loan with these people. I said nothing and told him I would call later if I got the money. I disregarded everything because everything seemed so obvious that It was some kind of Scam.
The next morning (saturday) I received a call and they spoke to my mother and told her to tell me that I will be arrested Monday or Tuesday May 26, 2009. I decided to look up National Affidavit Processing Department and thanks to someone else's report, I was relieved. Thank you for taking the time to inform the public.
