Credit Acceptance Corporation - John J. Pugh Law Firm - National Credit Acceptance Corporation Removed entire balance from my bank account(s) intermittently for the past 8 years and emptied PayPal account Sacramento California
John J. Pugh a.k.a. Nat'l Credit Corp. has been hassling me for years to pay a debt they bought from one of my credit card companies who I couldn't repay because of job loss years ago.
They sent a guy to my door and stupidly I signed some something and it turns out Pugh uses this signature to get into my bank accounts and wipe out my balance.
I called them in 2005 and tried to work out a payment plan. At the time, I was struggling w/out a full-time job and all I could offer was $25 per month. I spoke with an attorney named Justin who said that would be fine. I sent them a check two months in a row, but then had no income for 2 months and couldn't pay anything.
They found my website (I'm a freelancer), contacted a designer I work with on occasion who's also a friend, with a court order telling him to garnish my wages, which insane, as I don't and never have worked for him. They knew this would upset me. I called them and told them to leave him alone, and had to resort to sending a certified letter from my friend stating I don't work for him. They told me that I would be dragged into court and liable for the court costs, which I believe is untrue and illegal. They did bring to court one day and I supplied all the info they asked for.
The bottom line is, if I could do monthly payments to pay off this debt I would. But they have refused to let me do that. They want a lump sum or nothing and, in the meantime, they put liens on my bank accounts and remove money every 6 months or so.
They patently refuse to work with me and have threatened my well-being, my family, my livelihood, and I can't figure out why, because they have really not gotten much money in return. If they set up a payment plan with me I'd be more than happy to pay them. I think they prefer trying go hit the "jackpot" by taking the money out of my bank account. Too bad for them I don't make very much.

I believe you have the wrong credit acceptance.. There's A Car Financing and the other a possible Credit Co ?

I wanted you to know that you may have place the wrong credit acceptance here. The credit acceptance for this profile is the Credit Acceptance based out of Michigan with their major call center in Henderson, NV. Please clarify which one your referring to as I think you may have misfiled your complaint.
