This is a common practice of bottom feeders to "accidentally" have the papers served to an old/incorrect address where they know you won't be....so when the court date comes along and you aren't there...they get a default judgment....It's sleazy but it works. You can try to have the judgment revoked based upon being served at the wrong address.
