National Crime Monitoring Unit Scam Firebaugh, California
My wife recieved a call from a woman with a very heavy Caribbean accent from the following number: 404-494-7938. She claimed she was from the National crime Monitoring Unit and that they had information that a a case had been filed against her and it was urgent that she or her attorney call them at 559-657-2810. This is the 3rd such phone call we received in the past 3 months. The other two tried to scare her into thinking she had a delinquent cash advance loan out and she would be arrested. I know better, and I know she had no outstanding loans with anyone. I found out the first 2 were scams, and now this one comes up. They called her at work and at home, so someone has her personal information. If you get a call from anyone with a heavy accent that says they are with any such company do not believe them it is a scam. To date they have yet to call back.

I am reporting this company National Crime Monitoring Unit, This is a fraudulent company, Calling stating you owe a great deal of money, to a company that they represent. If you get this call from 1-559-657-2810 or 1-559-588-0922 please ignore it this is not a real company. I also contacted the BBB to make sure this wasn't a real company and it is not. Be careful and be aware of this company.
