Hello my name is Lloyd

I payed National Dealers Warranty pretty close to $3000.00 on and extended warranty on my 2006 Dodge Ram. I canceled the warranty because the truck was sold. I called National Dealers Warranty and was told I had to send a letter of cancellation(LOC). So sent the (LOC) Rep said I would be receiving 2 payments after the warranty was prorated, one for the deposit of $600.00 and the other a check for $1800.00. debit card. The refund check never came. I got a call from National Dealers Warranty rep 4 months later stating that my check was returned to them because they sent it to MS where I was working at the time. Hmmm I said to the rep, but my billing address is in California and the (LOC) gave the Correct address. Then National Dealers Warranty rep tells me, you will receive the check in 2 weeks. (Never Happened). I called again they said they never had the California address. So I asked, then how did you bill my Wells Fargo credit card all these months with out the correct billing address & zip code? I also asked them if they got my (LOC) and the Rep said yes in October of 2008. Well the rep said I would get the check in 20 business days. (Never happened) I called National Dealers Warranty rep back and asked where is my refund check, the rep got smart with me and say's sir you have to many addresses how are we supposed to know what to do? I said Excuse me! You need to check yourself and the computer system, this rep he tells me the same thing.2 weeks. Never got the check. I call back and talk to another rep.

She tells me I will get the check 20 business days after the day company has set up to send out refund checks. (Never happened). Recently I get a call from them asking me to by a extended warranty for my mini van. I asked the guy when was my refund check sent to me he said on February 16th there a bouts. I never got it and now it is March 23rd 2009. Still waiting.

Does this sound like a business you want to deal with. NOT ME never again I hope these people get fired or go to jail. That's how they are going to do business. This is nonsense

After not receiving the check I have yet to check with visa about the refund.

Here it is a year later sense I gave my letter of cancellation to NDW. I got another call today from Joesph telling me It was not NDW's fault that I did not get the refund back sense the contract was clear that I did not cancel 30 days after the contract was made. So I took him to the NDW web site and showed him the contract and what it said about cancelling. this is their own contract. Cancellation (If Financed) A. We may cancel this Contract for non-payment of the Contract Charge, or for misrepresentation in the submission of a claim. We may cancel this Contract if Your Vehicle if found to be modified in a manner not recommended by the manufacturer. B. In the event that your contract is cancelled for non-payment, no refund will be due. C.Returned Check Charge: A returned check charge of $25.00 will be assessed each time you pay us with a check or pre-authorized check that is returned unpaid. The funding party will post the returned charge to your balance due. Unpaid late fees will be posed to your balance due. D. Refund Policy for Pre-Autorized Check Payments: If payment has been made by a pre-authorized check(s), you must submit all original cancelled pre-authorized check(s) to the funding party. For purposes of refund, photocopies of pre-authorized check(s) are not accepted. With receipt of your refund, your original pre-authorized check(s) will be returned to you. E. Reinstatement: If this Vehicle Service Contract is cancelled due to non-payment, we reserve the option to reinstate the Agreement. As a condition of reinstatement, any reinstatement request must be made within thirty (30) days of cancellation and the full amount of the Contract price must be paid at the time of reinstatement. We will not be responsible for any Mechanical Failure to your vehicle during the first thirty (30) days and 1,000 miles from the effective date and miles at the time of the Reinstatement Notice. The Contract Holder may cancel this contract within Sixty (60) Days, (Thirty (30) Days for a used motorcycle/snowmobile covered without manufactures warranty), of the date the Contract and the manufacturer's warranty was in effect on the Contract purchase date and receive a full refund of the total Contract purchase price if no claim has been made, without a cancellation or administrative fee or other charge. If the Contract is cancelled after the first Sixty (60) Days for a new motorcycle/ snowmobile or Thirty (30) Days for a used motorcycle/snowmobile or a claim has been filed, an amount of the unearned Contract charge will be refunded according to the pro rata method reflecting the greater of days in force based on the term of Contract and the date. The applicable cancellation fee shall be the lesser of ten percent (10%) or Twenty Five ( $25.00) of the total Contract Purchase Price. The Contract holder may cancel the contract in the event the motorcycle/snowmobile is returned, sold, lost, stolen, or destroyed and receive a pro rata refund in accordance with the terms of the Contract. A Twenty five dollar ($25.00) cancellation fee will be assessed. My contract was not canceled by NDW for being late but by me because my truck was sold I did everything the requested and still not even the BBB will help. contract number WALF3833635 this is real people. They will steal from you. here is another number to add to the list. NDW 1800-941-0687 1800-824-7059 People need to look at the contract and find out what state it is written for to know what rules this company will break. This is not a customer friendly company except to take your money.
