I too was sort of a victim, although I read the reports here before the "movers" arrived. Unfortunately I lost $500 deposit. I had contracted with NMN, although no contract materialized. I *DO* have the faxed agreement to provide services with the date of pick-up (missed by NMN) and the written estimate. I cancelled the move after NMN missed the scheduled pick-up (breach of contract) and cost my mom a day of sitting waiting (this was SuperBowl Sunday) for movers who claimed "the truck broke" five minutes before kick-off. Hmmmmm... Anyawy, as I live not too far from wher NMN is listed to have their business, I am looking into suing them for the $500 plus expenses incurred by their not showing up. I'd love to put these jokers out of business! Perhaps a class-action suit?

Colleen, I guess you've complained to all the agencies you listed, it seems like you've been doing a lot of research. Did you tell the DOT that Randy himself said NMN was the movers? The DOT already fined them $6,000 for this (brokers have to say they are brokers, they're not allowed to pass themselves off as movers). It seems odd that Randy is dealing with the day-to-day business dealings in your move, instead of hiding behind expendable worker bees. Maybe things aren't going well for NMN (we can hope!). Plus, the fact that he's so bold to pull a flat-out extortion attempt (the sign-the-waiver deal) shows that he's crossed the line. Call the Miami FBI (Miami-Dade FBI office at 305-944-9101), they know all about NMN. Since he's calling the shots, the criminal activities are originating in Miami, and they have jurisdiction. Did you happen to catch the waiver or conversations involving it on video? (great job, by the way, taping everything) It sounds like you have a lot of juicy information, maybe something can finally be done about it. Let me know if I can help, PLEASE! I've been waiting for the chance to see some justice done.
