I resently signed up for tio to start a market sharing bussiness on Sept. 4 2009. I gave them $500 to start up the bussiness website. They told me that i had 30 days to get my money back after i spoke to the advertisement agent which was Sept. 10, 2009. The agent was tring to get more money out of me and its a good thing i had to run cause after i hung up with him he never called me back. I called TIO customer service and requested my money back after the agent wouldn't return my calls. I sent the package back certified mail on Sept 6, 2009 so I think im in the clear. It turns out that the 30 day period is from when you buy it and not when the agent calls you so i was told by a guy named Trevor Brown who was the Customer Service Manager. I told him that i was told false information and that i should still be intitled to a refund. He said that the recorded conversation will be pulled and that it would be reviewed.
It turns out that it is a third party that reviews it (who they won't tell me or give me a contact person to talk to) and that the third party said that i wasn't misinformed and that it was a done deal and i can't get my money back. I just want to try to warn people who think about tring to get a head with a company called national opportunities. They will put you in the hole instead.
