Ms. Sandra Lewis, NRN prevailed against your fraudulently obtained California judgment when an Arizona Supreme Court Judge overturned it recognizing the fact you underhandedly obtained this judgment by failing to follow proper legal process. I believe our Corporate Attorney was quite instrumental and professional in defending the allegations you presented.

Ms. Sandra, back on Sept 20, 07 you hired our company to recover your 2002 Land Rover from your ex lover/girlfriend Michelle Burgess in which you had purchased for her with stipulations of repayment. You spoke w/Ron in sales as evidenced from your online assignment form. You were quoted a base fee of $800.00 dependent upon the degree of difficulty. Never were you quoted a FLAT FEE and to say differently is clearly an untruth. You stated in your assignment that Michelle had not made any payments. Our company recovered your vehicle five days after our investigation had begun. Our investigators and field agents were able to get Michelle Burgess to turn the unit over voluntarily. You claim our professionals were negligent by allowing Michelle to retrieve her belongings out of the vehicle in exchange for keys. Do you not understand that all Michelle needed to do was call the police, create a breach of peace and our agents would have been told to leave and you would still be looking for your vehicle? How ungrateful you are. As to the keys, yes they can be used as a negotiating tool, however, we cannot force a debtor to turn them over, we cannot by law keep their personal property from them. Our online contract is clear, Client agrees and understands that each recovery is unique and NRN LLC's "base fee" DOES NOT INCLUDE hardcore skips, investigation charges, field agent fees, fraud, identity theft, criminal enterprise, national database charges, etc., and that NRN LLC's final invoice is based upon the degree of difficulty in the recovery and the means necessary to recover your particular collateral. NRN LLC's "base fee" is just that, a "base fee," and the expenses encountered engaging in the recovery will result in an increase in the final charge to Client. You were billed accordingly. As to your complaint regarding, I conveyed to Mr. St.Marie the case did not involve a hardcore skip, fraud, identity theft, criminal enterprise, etc. you are correct and you were not billed for any of those four items you are complaining about. You were billed according to the work done for the recovery of your vehicle. You paid the invoice, Ms. Lewis. As to your complaint regarding the office staff telling you lie information because no person on title could pick up the vehicle and that whomever, was to pick up the vehicle had to say on behalf of National Recovery. Sandra, this particular impound facility was not accustomed to dealing with the general public, to say on behalf of National Recovery is not a lie and just a formality for recovery business standard practices. As to the Key you never paid National Recovery for the key. You paid our agent, a subcontractor, licensed and bonded in the State of California directly, what you refer to as a blank key is a key that is not a transponder key. The key you paid for is a key that would operate your vehicle so you could get it to a Land Rover dealership and have your Transponder key coded. Had you paid for the transponder key you would have paid anywhere between $300-700.00. As for your response to the owner's rebuttal in this case, Sandra, you know NRN did not show up in court because you chose not to follow the proper notification procedures and obtained a judgment without our knowledge. Clearly you and your attorney Piotr G. Reysner knew NRN was located out of Scottsdale, Arizona and you knew where our general counsel was located. Both you and he corresponded by phone, email and regular U.S. Mail, however you failed to even attempt service at our address or our General Counsels address in an effort to quickly obtain a default judgment and divert our efforts to properly defend our company in this action. As to your claim that we were not allowed to do business in California you were in court, you heard the judge, NRN was not registered with the Corporation Commission in the State of California (that does not equate to not being allowed to operate within the state) our subcontractors are all licensed, bonded and insured in every state in which we operate.. As to your settlement, you know you inflated, perjured yourself as to the damages you sued for. You will have to live with that, you will have to answer to the higher powers to be Sandra. You know full good and well NRN performed a job in getting your vehicle back out of the hands of Ms. Burgess, a job you your self could not perform alone. Our office has sent you numerous emails regarding your settlement and you have failed to respond. Be on notice, we are fully aware of your arrival in Arizona on 02/26/2009, our attorneys are diligently working to block your fraudulently obtained California judgment, we look forward to actually having an opportunity to present our case in court.

Mr. St.Marie, you did not prevail because you were not allowed to do business in California and you were not able to show up to court to defend your business unscrupulous actions. All by "choice". Your debt to me is in excess of 5K and will only increase if you do not pay. As for the other consumers, take the business to court and use the small claims court near your residence. My situation with National took place in September 2007 and I was able to see the company in court in November 2008, due to other delays out of my hands. Although, my point is to use the justice system to become whole instead of allowing such a corrupt business continue to take adavantage of the consumer. Mr. St.Marie, you have pathetically represented your business and lost, so where is my money? Are you going to pay your debt or what?

Dear mystery author; Your version of "the events" sound incredible, I will respond once I can track down your case, myself and our employees would never conduct ourselves in any manner resembling your statement. I respect your wishes to remain anonymous however your accusations not only target my business, but also my employees and me personally. I respectfully ask you to provide a case# or last six characters of the vin (vehicle identification number) so we may respond with accurate accounting of the case and submit any documentation available towards that end. In closing I would like to state that this web-site (Ripoff Report.com) has just recently been brought to our attention, had we known such a venue existed we would had responded to any and all reports immediately. We effect thousands of successful recoveries each and every year, the majority of our clients come to us in a time of need with emotions running high, and at times we end up on the receiving end of those emotions, we try very hard not to add to their already bad situation, unfortunately this is a very unpredictable business and each case and client are unique, we make a daily effort to be sensitive and patient with our clients' needs and expectations, and we will continue to work on policies and procedures to improve.
