Wheelchair users BEWARE!!!

I am a wheelchair user.  I got my chair through NSM in 2005 (although even medicaid/wisconsin wouldnt contract with them at the time so it was a special purchase!)  I also had a prescription for a hoyer lift in which the Prior Authorization had all been completed and all that was left was to order it-They "sat" on that prescription for 11 months till it had expired then asked for a new prescription and even quoted "we have no excuse as to why it wasnt filled in the first place, we just didnt fill it".  I never ended up getting that hoyer (my husband's back is now ruined thank you!)

I then moved out of WI for a while (and away from them!) but came back recently and needed repairs on my chair DESPARATELY!  I had been working with another company (search ROR for Home Health United- SAME PROBS WITH THESE GUYS!) Anyway I contacted the lady in Madison (I worked with the Milwaukee/Fonddulac office before) and she told me all the stories about how she had been fired from HHU and she would see to it I was taken better care of.....blah blah blah....

This was early 2009-I received a prescription/PA for repairs for my chair (ie: tires/casters etc....)  Hmmm lets see, They SAT on THAT prescription from Febuary to NOVEMBER and after threatening to take them to court, I FINALLY received TIRES ONLY-NO CASTERS, NO BATTERIES etc!!!  Plus they "cheerfully added that I needed "new motors" that mine had gone "bad"....HMMM I am the one driving it EVERY DAY and the motors were working JUST FINE!!!  They happily charged Medicaid for 2 "brand new" motors, but "somehow" managed to put in faulty ones.....NOW my chair LITERALLY THROWS ME OUT OF IT from time to time!!(they sure are enjoying that money however!) and yet I STILL have not got my casters, or my batteries!!!  I also needed a piece for my turn signal which my insurance has ALWAYS taken care of (Mothers: PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR TODDLERS PULL PARTS OFF PEOPLES WHEELCHAIRS THANK YOU!!!) First- they "claim" the parts for my turn signal are not covered and want a $50 copay....NOW that I have filed "fraud" complaints with the state and complaints with my w/c company to "drop" them from their accounts, and filed with the state licensing bureau the proper complaints against their licensed techs NOW they claim that the labor to FIX my chair ISNT covered EITHER!!!  This was only AFTER my complaints!  Very strange!  Once I filed my complaints/grievances to Medicaid- OH all of a sudden 3 months later NOW they have my casters!!! (But still dont have my batteries......hmmmm) 

To get any kind of decent service from this company is like PULLING WISDOM TEETH!!!

I have called their corporate offices till I was blue in the face but noone has yet to return my calls! 

Any attorneys, please contact me- I would LOVE to sue these people as I have fallen from my chair now 8 times and twice seriously injured!
